Your P.O.V:
Er Er ER ER!!! I hit the off button on my alarm. I got up and turned on my radio. That is how I usually start my day. I slipped on a f/c short sleeve shirt, jeans, and my waitress clothes over my regular clothes. I sang along as f/s played. Once I was finished with getting ready, I headed out the door for work.
I made it to Granny's where I found my mom eating a bagel.
"Good morning mom." I said, kissing her cheek.
"Good morning dear." She said. I went behind the counter and greeted Mrs. Lucas.
"Hello Mrs. Lucas!" I said. "How are you doing?"
"Oh I'm doing fine." She said. I smiled. Just then, a guy I have never seen before walked in. He had brown hair and blue eyes. He took a seat, ignoring everyone who was staring at him with suspiciousness.
"I'll go wait on him." I told Mrs. Lucas. I made my way to the suspicious man.
"Hello and welcome to 'Granny's Diner.' I'm Y/n and I shall be your waitress." I said.
"What would you like to order?" I asked. He didn't reply.
"I'll come back whenever you're ready." I said as I started to walk away.
"Water." I heard him say. I turned back and made my way back to his table.
"Excuse me?" I asked.
"I would like a glass of water." The man said.
"With ice or-."
"No ice." He said. I nodded and headed over to the counter. I came back with his drink but he had gone. There was a tip underneath the napkin holder. It was ten bucks.
"How much did he give you?" Ruby asked me when I returned to the counter.
"Ten bucks." I replied. Her eyes widen and she smiled.
"Have you ever seen him around town?" I asked Ruby. She said no. I frowned.
