Hey guys I know Rosalie and Emmett would have graduated at this point but can we just pretend they haven't? really sorry if that's a problem!
"Pleaseee." Bella begs dragging Aleena by the arm.
"I already met one of your groups yesterday and now another one! How many different friend groups do you have?!" Aleena complains.
"Just these. Come on you've already met Edward and Alice and kinda Jasper you'll be fine." What if they eat me
"Fine." And with that Aleena let's Bella drag her to the lunch room first forcing her into the line for food and then dragging her over to the table so fast she almost dropped her apple and flapjack.
"Aleena!" Alice shouts happily shooting out her chair and into the girls arms wrapping her up in a hug. Aleena let's out 'oof' as the air is knocked out of her before awkwardly laughing and Bella sits down slightly confused,
"Hello to you too Alice." Bella jokes and once Alice has pulled away, surprisingly disappointing the young witch the pixie girl smiles at the Brunette apologetically before sitting back next to a boy Aleena has yet to meet.
Aleena sits thinking she will have at least a moment to prepare for having to speak but Alice is quick to chime in,
"Oh Aleena you have to meet Jasper." Aleena turns and looks at the strawberry blonde next to Alice and instantly feels a slightly warm feeling in her chest, just like she does with Alice, maybe it's a vampire thing.
"Hi." Aleena says shyly and Jasper fails in suppressing his smile which, although Aleena couldn't see, surprised majority of the family and Bella.
"Hello." Aleena automatically grins when hearing his voice looking at Alice with a smile as Jasper continues to look at her. Only a cough from Bella pulls the three out of their happy bubble and Aleena turns to look at her before scanning the rest of the table seeing Edward who looks a lot less skeptical of her and two others she hadn't met yet.
"Hi." Aleena smiles oddly happy, "I'm Aleena."
The boy practically three times her size sends her a big toothy grin,
"I'm Emmett. And this is-"
"Yeah I can introduce myself.-" Aleena turns to the beautiful girl next to Emmett and sends a shy smile which Rose internally coos at, "I'm Rose."
Bella can't help but feel slightly annoyed by this reaction as although a cold tone comes with the words it's clear Rose does not have a problem with Aleena. Bella can't help but wonder why, after all she was the one really connected with the family, Aleena was just a friend, right?
The rest of lunch went by very well with everyone talking freely, even Rose who generally only speaks to Emmett and occasionally Alice at lunch spoke to Aleena at times and eventually the bell rung suggesting that lunch was over.
"What have got now?"
"History. First time too, the teachers okay right?"
"Don't worry Edward has history right now anyway." Alice smiles giving the girls forearm a comforting squeeze.
"The teachers relatively nice anyway." Jasper adds and Aleena smiles thankful for the information.
"Edward come on! I don't want Aleena to be late!" Alice groans seeing the boy has made no move to get up and is still talking to Bella. He raises his hands in surrender at Alice's harsh tone thought giving Bella a quick kiss goodbye and getting up. Aleena and Edward share a small smile before walking off together as the rest of the group disperses elsewhere round the school.
They don't speak as they walk through the hall, or when they enter the class or even when sitting despite them being next to each other which Aleena almost laughs at how awkward Edward is being. So, when the teacher begins speaking, she turns her head very slightly to him and mumbles,
"You don't have to look so scared ya know. I'm not the one that bites." She sees on the corner of her eye that her joke gets a slight reaction as Edwards lip tilts upwards,
"Sorry. Bella speaks very highly of you I just don't want you to think low of me especially since your last impressions of me weren't the best..."
"Ah don't worry about that unless you plan on doing it again because I will hurt you."
"Never."
"Well then we're okay." Edward nods and with that the class goes along fine with slight friendly chats between the two.
