(Joys POV) When we get to the house the guards escorts us both into the house but into different entrances. I enter in through the kitchen door and am lead up some stairs into a beautifully decorated bedroom that has white walls and gold and pink accents all over the room. As soon as I see it I run over and flop on the bed. It's so soft, definitely a lot softer than my bed at home. That's when it hit me, I'm free! I'm finally free from my family!! I try to run downstairs when the guards stop me. They motion me to my closet when one of them says "pick one" I open the closet and it's a huge walk in closet with 10 outfits laid out. I pick a simple baggy green tee-shirt with some light blue high rise jeans and some plain white Connectors. Connectors are the newest brand of teni-shoes, they are super cool. They are like vans, which were popular in 2019 and 2020 but they don't have laces, they don't look like slip-ons either though. I don't really know how to explain it. After I get dressed I put on some makeup, it's just a simple natural look though. Then I walk out of my bedroom door where the guards escorts me down to the kitchen table. I look over at the kitchen counter and see a digital clock, it's 4:15 pm, it took all day to get here and I'm kinda tired but I don't really care, I can't wait to meet my soulmate.
