Hard day at work

"ISABELLA"! I hear my boss yell I roll my eyes I get up from my desk and walks into his office I say "yes sir". He asks "you know your job is to get me files right"? I say with attitude "yes sir I know I'm getting them right now". He rolls his eyes and says "leave". I leave his office I walk back to my desk thinking about his one brown eye and the other black eye then I think about his red and white braided hair "I wonder what he is". I say to myself I snap out of thought I sit down and gets files done.

Ever since my parent's died I have been going down the list of people they knew so I can eliminate the person that betrayed them but it hasn't been easy my boss is the second to last person on the list. The thing is were different there's demons, angels, and warriors my parent's were demons along with me which is why we were targets the demons are top class, Warriors are second, and Angels are low class. 

Demons are top class because of their strength, wealth, skills, leadership, and strategies. Warriors are second class because of their strength, wealth, skills, and smarts. Angels are low class because their Innocence, they have wealth but not as much, they have pride, brightness in their eyes, has hope, and is determined. There is also humans but we don't talk about them considering they don't know about us.

Once the files were done I looked at the clock 7:32 at night I sigh in frustration I pick up the files and walks to his door I knock on it. He says "come in". I open the door and walks in I say "sir the files are done". He nods I set them on his desk I look at the clock on his desk and sees it being 7:37 I groan in frustration. He raises his one eyebrow and asks "problems"? I quickly shake my head in a no he nods and says "you can leave early only because you got my files". I get excited and says "thank you sir". He says "your welcome now leave".

I turn around and leaves his room I go to my desk I pick up my purse thinking of how I was the one that cause my parents car accident I walk over to the elevator and presses the down button I stand there waiting for it while thinking why he would kill them yeah he was close friends with them but why would he. When it finally comes up I get on it and presses the main floor button I blow a strand of my pink hair out of my face and thinks about how far I have came once the elevator goes down and feels like it went up a little I think about what my boss is, does he have superpowers like some of us or is he normal then I snap out of it when I see the doors opening I come out I go over to the box on the wall I grab my card and punches out so he will know I left the building.

I leave the building I walk to the parking lot I walk to my car I open the door and gets in I take my keys from my purse I put it in the ignition and starts it I close my door and drives off. Once I pull in the driveway I see Aki home I get confused I say out loud "he's normally at work". I park my car behind his. I shut off my car I get out carrying my purse I put my keys in the purse and closes the car door I get on the porch I open the door I walk in I ask curiously "Aki you here"?

I close the door I put my purse on the coat rack by the door I walk into the kitchen and sees fast food from McDonald's I open the bag and feels steam coming off the food onto my face and fingers I get confused. I close the bag I pick it up and puts it in the microwave so it stays warm I leave the kitchen I continue to walk until my head bumps into someone I look up and sees Aki I see his beautiful yellow eyes. He says "don't you ever watch where your going".

I roll my eyes and says "I was looking for you". He says "I was in the shower". I say looking at his half green half blue hair all drenched in water and water drops from his hair "I can see that". He smirks and asks "bad day at work"? I nod I hug him and says "my boss is being a bunghole towards me". He hugs me back and says "well I have some good news and bad news". I look up at him and asks "what's the bad news"? He stops hugging me I stop as well he says "I got fired". I ask "ok why was that"? He gulps and says "no reason I got accused of being lazy".

I narrow my eyes at him figuring he was lying to me by the way he was acting but I let it go and asks "what is the good news"? He says "my family wants me to go back home they want to meet you and see you again". My shoulders drop I say "oh". He looks at me concerned and asks "you don't seem happy what's wrong"? I sigh and says "nothing". He says persistently "tell me". I huff and says "I have a job here my home and everything is here you can't just expect me to move to another country that I know nothing about then leave everything I ever worked for".

He says "well I don't know what to say joji". Translation: baby girl. I look at him confused and asks "what did you say"? He smiles and says "baby girl". I look at the ground and asks "well how long are we staying there"? He says "a couple of weeks". I nod and says "alright when we leaving". He says "tomorrow actually". I get irritated and says "you tell me this now". He nods and says "yes". I roll my eyes I walk over to the rack I pull my phone out of my purse I turn it on I go through my contacts I see my bosses name I go upstairs and calls him.

He picks up within four rings and says "yes Mrs. Wood how may I help you"? I say nervously "I have to take three weeks off". He yells "WHAT"! I get scared and says "sir my boyfriend wants to see his family in Japan and his family is eager to see me please I have never tooken days off of anything". He huffs of anger into the phone and says "three weeks that's it understood". I say nervously "I understand sir thank you". He says "yep no problem".

I hang up I plug my phone into my charger on the nightstand I walk over to my walk-in closet I walk in and sees my suitcase and his packed I walk out. I go to the bathroom and see my pjs I get undressed and puts them on I walk out I get startled when I see Aki. I say "Jesus don't do that". He smirks and asks "why not"? I roll my eyes and says "because you can give me a heart attack". He says "alright sorry". I say "it's fine your just quiet".

He chuckles and says "I know anyways I'm going to sleep". I smile and says "I'm going to eat then go to bed". He nods and says "alright". I walk down the stairs and into the kitchen I open the microwave up I take the bag out and sets it on the center island I pull warm fries with a chicken sandwich out. I throw the bag away I sit down on the stool in the kitchen and eats while thinking about the other people I have met just to see if they killed my parents but no luck. 8 minutes later I get done I throw everything away I go back upstairs I enter my room I see Aki laying there sleeping I go over to the bed.

I move the blanket and gets into bed I lay down facing my back towards him I think about how me and him used to cuddle how me and him used to have long talks how he wasn't so stubborn or acting like he knew it all or how he used to not be distant my eyes tear up thinking about him leaving me. I close my eyes to stop from crying but it's too late my eyes swell up with tears and they fall down I get up and rushes into the bathroom I sit on the toilet crying about my parents dying, my sister killing herself, me leaving here to japan, my work being hard then my boss being demanding, plus losing my brother, and overall being alone.

I sit there crying profusely then I feel a presence I wipe my tears away and stops crying I look up and sees Aki I say "hey I'm going to bed". He walks in and asks "what's wrong"? I look at him and says "I'm just thinking about things I'm fine". He nods and says "alright". My heart drops hearing that, he's always persistent if it's about him but when it comes to me he doesn't care I smile like nothing is wrong he walks out I follow him we get into bed I close my eyes and falls asleep dreaming about not being alone.
