The scream

I look at honey he pulls out his gun I ask "who is that"? He doesn't say anything he has his gun in his hands pointed to the ground looking around then we hear another scream "MOMMY"! I run to the noise honey yells "DAMNIT BELLA"! I open the door and sees a little girl with a little boy I walk in and asks "what's wrong"? They run to me and goes behind me I say "hey it's ok".

I ask concerned "what's wrong"? They point at the door I look at the door I say "ok honey is out there go and see him". Their eyes gleam in excitement and they run into the hall I walk towards the door slowly and cautiously I get to the door with my rapid heavy breathing, I get scared and anxious, my heart pounds in fear, I gulp slowly, opening the door with it creaking I see a man standing over a body and blood everywhere with a name tag that's says "Jiro".

I scream I turn around to run but I run into a hard chest I look up slowly and sees honey looking at me angrily. I go around him and runs into the hallway I look right then left I go left when I see the kids I run to them and says "come on we gotta go". The little girl says "I want my mommy". I say "I know just come with me I'm trying to protect you".

I take her hand the little boy asks "where's my dad"? I have a flashback to the dead man on the floor I come back to my senses and says "he's probably with your mother so come on". The little boy gives his hand we all go to my room I walk into the bathroom I let go of their hands I close the door and locks it, I sit on the toilet and thinks about their parents the little girl comes up to me and asks "you ok"?

I nod and says "yeah yeah I'm fine I'm just thinking about your parents". I then hear someone yell "BELLA"! I get up I unlock the door and opens it I say "I'm here". Honey walks in and says "they're in here ava". Ava comes running in the room the kids both squeal and yells "MOMMY"! My face drops I ask "you have a daughter and son"? Ava looks at me like I just slapped her she says "yes this is your niece and nephew".

They look at me, I look at them, they both squeal and says excitedly "WE HAVE AN AUNT"! Ava smiles and nods the little girl comes to me and says "my name is Mia and this is my brother Trenton". I smile at them and says "well it's nice to meet both of you". They smile and says "us too". Trenton looks at Ava and asks "where's daddy"? I open my mouth to tell ava what I saw but a guy comes in the room and says "I'mmmmmm baaaaack".

They both run to him and hugs him I get scared I gulp and looks at him Ava says "darling this is my cousin Isabella but you can call her bella". The man looks at me suspiciously and says "my name is Riku thank you for protecting my children". I nod quickly and says "no problem". Ava says "I'll see you later". I nod and slyly smile she leaves with the kids honey comes in Riku looks at me with narrowed eyes.

I gulp and looks at honey he looks at me he leans against the doorway and asks "do you two have history"? My eyes tear up and says "no we don't". Riku asks "you look familiar have I seen you before"? I huff and asks "do you have a brother"? He nods and asks "why"? I huff again and says "he's dead his name is jiro". Rikus face turns into a sad one and says sadly on the verge into tears "what".

I look down feeling bad he says "I'll sulk about my brother in a minute but that still doesn't answer my question do I know you". I look at the ground staring having a flashback of him drinking with Aki and when Riku got drunk he pulled out a gun and pointed it at Aki then Aki got mad he threw me into a wall he opened the basement door he kept on slapping me then he threw me down the stairs with clowns my worst fear.

I snap out of the flashback I fall to my knees not making eye contact with them I sit there weak and staring at the ground. Riku asks "is she alright"? Honey doesn't say anything he just stays leaning against the wall looking at me I break the silence not looking at him or honey "you made my life f(bleep)ing h(bleep)l you made him put me in that God d(bleep)n basement it's your fault I'm scared of basements".

I can tell Riku got confused because he asks in confusion "what do you mean"? I stand up looking at Riku with my eyes dark purple I explain in a dark tone "you were with Aki one night you made him mad by pulling out your gun and pointing it at him you both were drunk so he easily got mad at me he slapped me repeatedly he threw me into a wall he opened the basement door and threw me down the stairs of the basement where I meant my ultimate fear clowns he even knew I was terrified of them so I now have fears of a basement all because of him".

Riku looks at me apologetically and says "I remember bits and pieces of that night I remember hearing screaming and seeing a man hitting a woman I was gonna shoot him but I must've passed out". My eyes go to normal I shake my head and says "I'm glad you found my cousin just don't drink". He stands up says "I'm sorry I didn't help you and thank you for telling me about my brother which I have question about how did you know he was my brother".

I say "you rambled on about it to Aki of how good he was and everything so that's how I knew". He nods and says "I should go and I'm sorry". I nod and says "it's ok". He turns to the door Honey gives him a curt nod and exits the room I look at honey who is looking at me he says in a low tone "you ever run out into danger and I'm not there to protect you, you might as well have killed yourself".

I say trying to reason with him "they're kids what were you expecting me to do stand there and wait". Honey gets off the wall he walks over to me saying "no but I don't want to see you hurt". I scuffle of annoyance and says "you're the one that said I should get out of my stage of being scared because your not always gonna be with me to protect me". He smirks and asks "being smart are we"?

I turn around and looks at the wall ignoring him being stubborn, he chuckles lightly and softly I then feel his cheek brushes against mine he whispers in my ear "do you wanna come with me now". I turn around and look at him not saying anything he raise his hand and strides my cheek he says softly "your too gentle for me, show me how to be gentle with you".

I open my mouth but trois walks in and says "sir". Honey clenches his jaw looking at me he says "yes". I look at honey trois says "your meeting for today starts in a hour". Honey huffs he turns around to face trois he says "ok and you need to be more around with Bella I know I didn't schedule you to be her assistant till tomorrow but you need to be around I don't want her to get hurt".

In that moment I felt it again it's what I haven't felt in a long time safety and comfort. Trois nods and leaves I look at honey he looks at me he says "I hope you will be alright while I'm gone". I nod he says "maybe when I come back I can take you to where we were going". I smile and says "alright I'm looking forward to it". He gives me a curt nod and leaves my room leaving the door open I get confused so I sit on the bed waiting for it too close but doesn't.

I stand up and says "trois". I think about escaping then I think about how honey will feel, at that point I walk by the door and peaks my head around the corner I don't see no one in the hallway I walk out of the room. I slowly walk into the hallway I go halfway down the stairs and hears a voice saying in a angry tone "she's American you really think she's the best one out of Emica".
