A New Lead

Blitzo leads everyone back to the conference room, including Shane.

The fact that he can instantly go from literally threatening the lives of Shane's entire family, to happily taking him on as a new client amazes you.

Blitzo seemingly just does what he wants, sometimes completely on a whim.

Hell, maybe that's why he decided to hire you, despite you not having any prior experience or training in mercenary work like this whatsoever.

He did say he "had a good feeling about you" during your job interview with him, after all.

You're not complaining, though. You wouldn't have met Loona if Blitzo didn't decide to take you under his wing.

That, alone, makes this job worth it to you.

"Here we are, everyone!" he exclaims with a big grin. "The official I.M.P. conference room!"

"Sir, we were already here." Moxxie says, rolling his eyes. "Two times, this morning alone!"

"No fucking shit, Moxxie!" Blitzo yells. "Shane hasn't seen it yet though, so we'll make it extra special for him."

The human chuckles, dismissively waving an arm. "You don't need to do that. Just, uh... act like it's a normal day, and pretend I'm not here!"

Oh, boy. If they do that, it won't be long for Shane to realize that there's no such thing as a "normal" day at I.M.P.

"We'll try our best, Mr. Harrison!" Millie says. "And uh... sorry about threatening your life, earlier..."

"No harm done." he replies. "If anything, I should be thanking you guys for not killing me!"

Everyone sits down in their office chairs at the table, while Shane stands near the front by Blitzo.

Loona scoots her chair over to be next to you, which makes you softly smile.

You gently take grasp of her hand under the table, and she looks back at you with a loving smile of her own.

You're not sure if anyone in the room knows that you two are dating, but you aren't exactly making it difficult for them to figure it out.

"We don't normally invite our clients to meetings like this, but it looks like you know pretty much everything there is to know about Valentino!" Blitzo explains. "So, we were hoping you'd be able to help us find him."

"I actually... kinda... don't know where he is..." Shane whispers.

Everyone in the room immediately freezes in place, and turns to look at him.

"You what?" Moxxie asks.

"You're serious?" you ask him. "Knowing where he's at would DEFINITELY help us in eliminating him, for you."

"I know, I know..." he mutters. "I've been tracking Val's movements for so long now, but with all the places he's been opening up lately, it's been hard to narrow down his exact location."

"How the fuck do you expect us to kill him, when we don't even know where he is?" Loona asks him.

"I don't know where he is, but I think I might know someone who does..." Shane replies. "It won't be easy getting to him, though."

"Well come on, don't keep us in suspense! Who is it?" Blitzo asks, excitedly.

"His name's 'Vinnie', and he's the head of one of Valentino's nightclubs, the newest one in Imp City. He manages the place when Val isn't in town, and he apparently keeps tabs of where Valentino is scheduled to be, at all times."
