Finishing the Job

Multiple, armed Mafia demons are flooding out of the nightclub's front door and looking around, like they're searching for someone.

They must've heard the gunshots from your confrontation with Vinnie.

Loona runs back downstairs, and returns with your duffel bag.

"I snuck a few things in your duffel bag." she says, handing you Moxxie's sniper rifle.

As you load the rifle with a magazine, she unzips a few other sections of the bag you hadn't checked earlier, pulling out a handgun and a pair of binoculars.

"Figured I could be your spotter!" she says with a smile.

"Thanks, hon." you reply, before pressing your eye to the rifle's scope.

Blitzo and Shane are taking cover behind a car in the parking lot, and start firing upon a large group of mobsters by the nightclub's entrance.

"Alright, here we go..." you mutter.

You have your sights set on a gangster who is getting dangerously close to Blitzo.

You pull the trigger, and he's dead before hitting the ground.

Another one is sneaking his way around, trying to flank the two of them.

You aim and fire, and he falls to the ground as well.

"Sniper. Second floor, first window on the right." Loona says from beside you.

"Got it." you reply, adjusting your aim and focusing on the building. You immediately see the flash of gunfire from his rifle, which fortunately missed Blitzo and Shane.

You pull the trigger, and the enemy sniper is eliminated.

Refocusing your attention on the largest group of enemies, you down three more of them before needing to reload.

As you reach for another magazine nearby, you can see the light of a tracer round suddenly fly past you. It narrowly missed your head.

"SHIT!" you exclaim. "Where'd that come from!?"

"I missed it, hold on!" Loona yells back.

"Thank God he did, too!" you say, shakily reloading your sniper rifle.

Another bullet flies past you, once again narrowly missing your head.

"WHERE!?" you scream.

"On the roof! By those neon lights!"

You see the demon she's talking about, who looks like he's finishing reloading his rifle as well.

Just before he can fire another shot, you pull the trigger and he's taken out, falling off the roof and onto the ground.

"Shit, that was too close..." you mutter, your heart racing a million miles a minute.

After taking out a few more mobsters with Loona's help, you can see Blitzo and Shane slowly making their way up to the closed front door of Valentino's nightclub.

Your enemy's numbers are slowly going down, and their resistance is starting to lighten up.

"Ready to go? They'll definitely need our help down there." you say.

"Yeah, let's get outta here." Loona replies, taking your sniper rifle and throwing it back in the duffel bag.

You grab your shotgun from the floor, and the two of you head downstairs to regroup with the others.
