Khadija.
"Cause all of me
Loves all of you
Love your curves and all your edges
All your perfect imperfections..."
Look at him. Dancing with some stranger as if he wasn't married too long ago. Some man my father is. You ever wonder how life would be if you could choose certain people to play certain roles in your life? I would give all the riches up just for him to care about me a little. I'm not asking him to love me I just want him to care. Sometimes I wonder how things would've been if...
"What you thinking so hard about?"
"Excuse me?" Why is it that a person can't even be left alone to think without someone interrupting.
"You just look like you're very deep in your thoughts."
"Do I know you?" I wish I knew him. He's sexy. I know for a fact that if we met I would've remembered. How could you forget a face like that.
"I'm sorry, I'm Cameron Hendricks and you are?"he's really handsome. Nice curly brown hair. Perfect brown eyes. Perfect body. He's tall too, just the way I like them. Hmmm he looks like he works out a lot. He should work out on me sometime. I wonder if he knows I'm checking him out.
"Khadija Isaacs." He offers his hand and I gladly take it. It's so soft and big. Since when do men have such beautiful hands. I wonder what else these hands can do.
"Erh hmm...since you like my hands so much, why don't you dance with me. You can hold them as long as you like."he smirks at me while holding onto my hands.
"Well firstly I don't like your hands. I'm just intrigued by them. Secondly if you wanted to dance so badly, you could've just asked." I smile up at him then lead him towards the dance floor.
"I found a girl
Beautiful and sweet
I never knew you were the someone
Waiting for me...."
Cameron pulls my hands around his neck and he lays his hands on my waist. We both smile and look into each other's eyes. He smells good, like a musky cologne. "A penny for your thoughts sweetheart?" Oh the way the nickname rolls off his tongue evokes a uneasy feeling inside of me.
"Nothing important. Just stress about irregular things." I look down at the floor because those eyes scare me. It's as if they can pierce right through my lies and figure out my truths.
"Then tell me about yourself instead. Your favourite colour, food or places. If you have a boyfriend." This guy seems really busy. Why would he want to know so much about a stranger? What if he's some type of spy or something?
"Well there's not much to say. My favourite colour is black. My favourite food would probably be stir fry. I don't really have a favourite place, I don't go out much. How about you?"
"Interesting. I don't have a favourite colour. Favourite food would have to be sushi. And my favourite place would be the beach. But only because it's calming, the people ruin it." He spins me around once.
"How can you not have a favourite colour?" Something about him intrigues me to know more.
"Well colours aren't actually real. Everything you see is actully black and white. And black and white arent colours either. Their tones and shades. The way I see it is not everything can be seen by the naked eye. In other words don't always believe what you see." Damn. Sexy and smart at the same time. That's a recipe for disaster.
"How can you not have a favourite place?"
"Well to me a place is just something created. It doesn't always stay the same or it won't always be there. Places are like people. Some change and some disappear. That's why you shouldn't get too attached, you could lose it just as quick as you found it." Wow. I have to admit for somebody who just made that up, it sounded pretty damn smart.
"Well then maybe I should take a special somebody out, and I might change their mind." He looks down at me with a smirk.
"Are you asking me out Mr Hendricks?" I raise my brow at him.
"Nope." He spins me around once more and dips me.
"Ms Isaacs would you do me the honour of going on a date with me?"
I don't know if this is such a good idea to go on a date with a complete stranger. He could be a serial killer or something. He brings me up again.
"You don't have to answer now, just take my number and call me when you get the chance."
"Hmmm...I will consider it Mr Hendricks. But I can't make any promises. I'm a very just woman." At the rate I'm going I think I'm ready to have this mans babies. Take me now lover boy.
"I hope to hear from you soon Ms Isaacs." He hands me his business card and I must say I'm impressed. The man has his own law firm at such a young age. Maybe I should break a few rules to get his attention more.
"Do you always try to wooh women with this fancy talk and gentlemen like manners?"
He puts his hand on his heart and fakes a look of pain and shock.
"My heart. I think you just broke it. And now you need to put it back together again." He slowly takes my hand and places it on his heart.
"If I don't have you, then I don't know what I'll do." He stares me in the eyes whilst slowly moving my hand lower and lower till they rest just above his v-line.
"What shall it be Ms Issacs. Will you leave me broken or fix me yourself?" He slowly smirks and tries moving my hand lower but I quickly pull it away.
"Hopefully you'll hear from me sooner rather than later Mr Hendricks. Don't get your hopes up though." I smirk towards him and walk away. Before I exit I turn around and blow him a kiss and a wink before laughing.
"I don't deserve it
She looks perfect
Tonight."
