Chapter 41

The next day, their mission continued. But before that, Hinata had seen Sai draw in the morning. She came to him to find out what he was painting. She really tried to get along with him.

"W-what are you drawing?" she asked.

"Oh, this, I don’know..."

"You don’t know?"

"No."

"And will you give it a name?"

"Hmm, no, I don’t think…"

"It's very nice, I like it."

"Thank you."

When Naruto saw them together, he was a little jealous, not even knowing why. He likes Sakura after all.

"What are you two doing here? Yamato Taicho is looking for you!"

"Seriously? So we should go then…" said Hinata, but Naruto grabbed her wrist.

"Wait, I want to know what Sai-chan drew."

He looked at his drawing.

"Your drawing sucks!"

"Hmm, yes, just like your p*nis."

Hinata covered her face and blushed.

"W-what did you say?!"

"He couldn't bear that Sai said it in  front of Hinata."

Fortunately, they finally went to see Yamato.

"Okay, let's try it first."

Yamato turned into Sasori. Hinata told him what Sasori's voice was. Naruto’s shadow clone was changed into Kabuto. Yamato gave them his sign. Naruto and Hinata hid in the bushes, and Sai was hidden behind a tree. Then they crept carefully ahead. Hinata attacked him discreetly from behind, and Naruto tied him to a tree. His clone, however, disappeared.

"It would have worked well, but Sai did nothing."

"I don't think Naruto-kun did much either," said Sai.

"What did you say?!"

"Hinata-san did most of the work."

Naruto grinned at him.

"This is not the point, but you're right. Naruto, Sai, you should get better involved."

Naruto looked at him coldly. Hinata touched his shoulder.

"Let’s do our best, Naruto-kun."

Naruto no longer felt so irritated.

"Sure-ttebayo!"

She smiled at him.

… The next day everything was ready, now they were just waiting for Kabuto. Suddenly someone was coming in a dark cloak.

"Hinata, is everything okay?" asked Naruto. Hinata controlled the situation with her Byakugan.

"No, Orochimaru also seems to be here."

"What did you say?! We have to warn Yamato Taicho!"

"He hasn't given us his sign yet..."

Sai watched from the background.

"Has anyone seen you?" asked Yamato as Sasori.

"I made sure not."

"Good."

"Do you have what I asked you for?"

"Of course."

Kabuto adjusted his hand, but suddenly Orochimaru appeared.

"Did they recognise me?" thought Yamato.

Kabuto is still on Yamato's side, though … he attacked him instead of Orochimaru.

"Heh, what do we have here? My lab rat," said Orochimaru.

Yamato showed the sign.

"Rat?"

"Then I'll explain, Kabuto."

Hinata, Naruto and Sai arrived.

"Hmm, isn't she the same girl I wanted to kill?"

That irritated Naruto.

"Shut up," said Naruto.

"Ho, Naruto-kun, what brings you to me?"

"Give us back Sasuke!"

Orochimaru began to laugh.

"Hahah, no, he will be my body soon."

Naruto couldn't hold on anymore. His blood-red eyes awoke, his fangs and claws growing. Kyuubi's chakra flowed through him.

"Yes, show me the true power of Jinchuuriki!"

Naruto growled at him.

I've never seen him like this. His chakra is dark ... It's much worse than then in the Forest of Death…
