Rescue

"Levi just texted me, he can't sleep" Lauren said with a shaky voice with a slight tone of sadness, she texted Levi to come over and meet them. Both girls wiped off the tears, and waited for Levi to come as a car approached and stopped next to them.

"Are you girls okay?" asked the neighbor who knew those girls since they lived in the neighborhood.

"Yes, Matt thank you for asking, why are you up?" asked Hannah as she got to her feet and leaned against the car's door.

"I'm heading to Alabama, I am going to meet a friend there, we always meet up on tuesday's"

"Oh well drive safe" Hannah bossed and backed up.

"Will do,you guys should go to sleep" the man drove away and waved to the girls and they waved back.

"I really don't feel like crying in front of Levi" Lauren sighed and gave Hannah a don't-care-anymore look. Hannah smiled and shook her head, pushed Lauren and soon saw Levi coming around the corner with his bicycle but saw someone else with him.

"Is that?" Hannah laughed and looked at Lauren.

"Oh my gosh" Lauren placed her hands and covered her face, gave Hannah a serious look.

"Hey" whispered Clay and gave them a smile, got off his bicycle and joined them, Levi did too.

"So why can't you sleep, Mister?" Lauren smiled at Levi and stood up, took Levi's bicycle and was going in circles.

"I keep thinking about them, you know?" Levi bit his lips and scratched his head.

"Same here, that's why we are here" Lauren was still making circles and soon an idea popped in her head.

"Let's go to the Drive and have some milkshakes and food" suggested Lauren as she hit the breaks on the bicycle and got off Levi's bicycle.

"How are we gonna get there" Clay raised his eyebrows and faced Lauren, she looked back at him and he immediately looked around in order to not get red like the last time.

"We'll walk, I mean it's 20 to 30 minutes away" Lauren rolled her eyes, she glanced up to the sky, she sniffed and started walking, Hannah ran up to Lauren and soon the boys did too.

"My dad is going to kill me" Clay sighed and laughed at the same time as Levi and Lauren gave him an evil smile. The group started talking about the old days as they left the neighborhood and were walking on the street, still able to feel the warmth and still enough moonlight to see in the dark.

"Clay, remember when Tyler accidentally shot at Ethan's face almost hitting his eye with the Airsoft gun?" Clay busted out laughing and nod. The Girls gave them a weird look.

"Boy stuff" Levi commented and shrugged, Lauren and Hannah rolled their eyes dramatically; soon they had to enter a forest.

"I hate going into the forest in the dark" Lauren pulled out her phone; turned on the flashlight and lighted up the way, going through the forest, the group heard a noise.

"What was that" Lauren started panicking and got scared, seeing a grey cat with white and black stripes on it coming out of the bushes,

"Such a baby" Levi voiced and gave them a grimace.

"You are the biggest baby here" Lauren commented back and gave back an awkwardly smile; They calmed down and proceeded to 'The Drive".

"Finally" said Levi with a loud voice. They crossed the street and entered the restaurant.

"Oh look who is here" yelled an employee named Garrett, had black full hair, a short beard and brown eyes.

"Hey G" yelled everyone and took a seat, Garrett finished cleaning a table and walked up to the kids.
