Ch23: Greedy

3rd POV

As the night settled and most of everyone was asleep, Tyler was awake cause he knew someone would try to take Y/N from him. He didn't know who, he just had a feeling someone was gonna take her from him.

And right he was, Smitty an kryoz were over jealous with tyler taking the girl for himself. Meanwhile, Madam Future had a smirk curl up on her lips as she sat in a chair with a book in hand.

"It's starting~!" She cooed with delight

She closed the book but at the same time, the two boys had gotten up. She hummed a maniacal tune as the boys made their way to the bed of The Jewel and The Thief. The smirk growing on Madam Future's face as the boys slowly got closer an closer.

But suddenly, a small gasp escaped her lips as Delirious got up and interfered. He stopped the boys in their tracks and Madam Future was a bit curious why he was still awake.

"What do you two think you're doing?" Delirious whispered

They didn't say a word but tyler heard them an looked to see how the three of them were. He held his Jewel closer to him and gave them a quiet, low growl.

"You two, go to bed." Delirious whispered," It's really late to start some shit so just go to bed."

They were too jealous, too angry to sleep. They were too love driven to even think of slumber, only thinking of her. But they knew he was right an had forced themselves to go back to their beds. Delirious looked at tyler an tyler trusted delirious to not try taking Y/N from him.

"You get some sleep too." Delirious said

Tyler didn't reply but did listen as he closed his eyes and relaxed with his Jewel in his arms. Delirious went back to bed and Madam Future was disappointed to have her prediction be miscalculated.

Brutus then entered her room and crossed his arms, curious why thieves and a commoner excited his boss.

"I know the people we find are always in danger of something that'll take their lives but why of all other people did you bring them?" Brutus asked

She looked at him and put her book down by her side.

"Do you know what Thieves do with Jewels, my dear brutus?" She asked

To Brutus it was an obvious answer but it didn't make sense to him.

"Yes, of course I do." he answered," But it doesn't answer m-"

"My dear, what are the names I bestowed upon them?" She asked

He suddenly realized what she meant but still needed an explanation of why they were what she gave them.  She saw his realization an stood up.

"The Twelve Thieving Lovers and The Jewel Of The Hearts." She said," She is a rare, valuable, and skillful little Jewel! One of a kind Heart Of Gold, She is A Jewel that has caught the eye of the Twelve Thieves. A few of them don't know it just yet but she already has their hearts in a jar, and with such loyalty the girl will treasure their hearts and try not to damage them~!"

She started to walk toward Brutus and a small amused smirk grew on her face.

"But what Thieves do best with jewels is get Greedy! So one by one, they will each try to keep her for themselves! Slowly tearing the jewel out of her comfort zone and possibly-" She stopped and her smirk grew even more along with her eyes which held excitement," Breaking Her~!"

Brutus grew concerned now as Madam Future had never had a prediction or seen such a future of greed and torment.

"If that's to happen then why aren't we stopping it-"
