I walked down the stairs to have my breakfast as no one is going to bring it to my room for me. It's not like I'm complaining or something. I am glad I don't have to eat food alone from now on. I smiled at the thought and settled down on the chair.

"Morning Ash."

"Morning Aunt." I greeted all of them as they joined us and we all have our breakfast together although theirs only include cranberry juice. It felt so good eating together. I almost forgot how it feels to eat together.

Vampires only need blood which nourishes their body but to hide their identity from humans and to blend in they have started ingesting human food.

Due to the busy lifestyle, people are not able to have meals together. It's normal to say but they don't realize what they're missing out on. All sitting together in one place, having food made with love and care. It's a very beautiful experience which I craved for so long and I am glad to live it again.

We don't notice but it solved many conflicts, family issues. It brings us closer. We share love whilst eating together. I didn't help but envy those who are fortunate to share this.

"Mom, I am going out with my friends," Rich spoke breaking my chain of thoughts, and kissed her on her cheek.

"But darling, you are supposed to show Ash around the city today," Aunt proposed.

"No mom, I'm not supposed to, and it's not he is a small kid. He can help himself," Rich said as a matter of fact shrugging and walked towards the door with his jacket.

"Ash," he spoke his back facing us. He lifted his hand and showed me his middle finger before shutting the door.

"Don't mind him!"

"Evy will go with you. Right, Evy!" She glanced at her.

"Yup." Evy clapped her hands excitedly and I have a bad feeling I am going to have a headache after the trip.

I was waiting for Evy when someone knocked at the door. As no one was around so I opened it. A tall girl with long flowing, wavy raven hair was standing there looking at the opposite side.

"Hello," I mumbled to get her attention. She turned around and stared at me with her round ocean blue eyes like I am an alien.

"How can I help you?" I asked to which she shook her head and opened her mouth but didn't say anything. I gave her a perplexed look.

"Bella, why are you standing there? Come inside," Evy spoke from behind me and she moved. She must be astounded to see me which illustrates her reaction. I moved aside and allow her in.

She took her seat beside Evy.

"My cousin I told ya about," Evy reminded her whilst she kept on staring at me.
