"Ahh," I heaved a frustrated sigh as it was taking ages for Linda and Sammy to get Ash ready.
Ren was unwilling to talk to me and was playing games while Zane was reading magazines. They both were acting calmly but I can tell they ain't. Ren's shoulders were tense and from his expression, he was having a hard time concentrating.
Zane kept on glancing at the time. Everyone was uptight and I couldn't blame them. We are not dealing with humans but a rogue here.
It's an important mission. Everything depends on us three. If anyone of us screwed up, it would be the beginning of a war that none of us wants so we have to do it right.
I leaned back on the sofa tired of waiting.
"Ta-da," Linda exclaimed gleefully, a grin plastered on her face like she had won a prize.
"Here comes," Sammy and Linda shared a look and stepped aside.
"Oh my!" I gasped and covered my mouth with my hands, staring at him with wide eyes. He looks....calling him beautiful would be an understatement.
"Ain't he looking cute?" Linda exclaimed cheerfully.
"I can't believe my eyes," Zane stood up abruptly, his eyes wide with awe.
Ash, dressed as a waitress is standing there shyly. No one could believe he was a guy after looking at him like that. He was looking like a barbie doll with a lean waist and long legs. They had painted his eyes with beautiful colours, the dark black liner accentuating his alluring green eyes.
"Will you be my girlfriend, gorgeous?" I said playfully kneeling before him, forwarding my hand like a prince.
To my surprise, he played along with me. He slowly lifted his thick eyelashes and our gaze met. "Yes." He winked at me.
"Hyee!" I pretended to fall from his wink with my hands on my heart.
He chuckled before grabbing my hand and helping me up.
"Are you finished?" Ren looked at me with an indifferent expression.
He is such a bummer.
"He is mine. Don't put your dirty eyes on him!" Sammy glared at me.
Ash furrowed his perfectly curved brows. "Did I hear it wrong or did you just say-"
"No. She was just kidding." Linda intervened, throwing a glare in Sammy's direction, she pulled her back.
I couldn't help but grin. "How I wish you were a girl and I would have done anything to make you mine." Ash chuckled and patted my shoulder.
He pouted and he looked adorable. I want to click his picture but I am sure he won't be happy about it.
"Alas! I ain't. Maybe in the next life." He gave me a playful smile.
