Dear Kerri,

It was your birthday yesterday. I couldn't focus the whole day, memories flashing through my head. Screaming as we rode roller coaster after roller coaster at six flags, you laughing as I got splashed at the beach, us crying and yelling at the T.V. Your smiles becoming fewer and fewer, your eyes turning sad, the fear inside them as you confided in me.  The clear betrayal and anger on your face when you saw I told someone. The way you screamed denial. The tremors that shook you as they made you leave. The way your eyes watered and no one else noticed.

I left in the middle of class. It was just too much for me to handle with all of them watching me like hawks. I locked myself in my room clutching at my head whispering over and over that I was sorry. It didn't help. You've been gone for so long; almost a year. I hope your getting better and that you'll be back soon. Please come home soon.

                                                                                Love,

                                                                        Allie
