ＲＯＴＴＭＮＴ Ｐｒｅｆｅｒｅｎｃｅｓ

ʀᴀᴘʜ x ᴍᴜᴛᴀɴᴛ! ᴛᴜʀᴛʟᴇ! ʀᴇᴀᴅᴇʀ

A/N: This is a request from @25silvers I hope you enjoy :). This is based on BNA. Also, Raph is kinda OOC in this.

As you sat on the top of the moving train you looked into the distance. Ever since mutants revealed themselves to the human race they had been shunned. It definitely was expected, but even then they didn't have a backup plan. They made a city underground and only mutants were excepted there any human that entered would be reported to the police. But some mutants decided they wanted to stay above ground. You were one of them. But you soon found out that no matter how hard you tried humans would never be able to accept a humanoid turtle. Right now you were traveling to the closest entrance to the city. You hoped that you could live a normal life there.

You jumped through the portal you and made and popped inside of your shell. You landed on the ground with a loud thump. But it didn't hurt you, Painted Turtles have a tough shell like that (A/N: I don't know if Painted Turtles can even fit in their shells so if you know could you please tell me?). A large green hand with three fingers was waved in front of your face. You slowly poked your head out of your shell to see who it was. It was a larger turtle with spikes on his shell, a red mask, and a snaggle tooth. He jumped back when you poked your head out of your shell as if he didn't expect it. Nonetheless(?) you stood up and stuck out your hand. 

"My name is Y/N! What's yours?"

He still looked a bit taken aback by you causing you to tilt your head. After a few seconds, the turtle spoke up.

"Y-your a turtle.."

"Uh, yeah, so are you."

You were starting to get a bit angry. Weren't people supposed to be excepting you? The larger turtle shook his head and smiled nervously.

"Ah, sorry, I just...haven't seen another turtle in a while."

  You nodded.

"So, are you new here?"

"Yeah, I just got here 2 minutes ago."

At this point the larger turtle had just left you hanging, so you put your hand back by your side.

"My name is Raph by the way."

You looked up at him and gave him a warm smile. You took a moment to look at your surroundings. The place was huge. There were lanterns and fairy lights to light up the streets and shops, mutants seemed to be having the time of their lives, and large treehouses seemed to pop up every now and then.  It was so pretty. Raph noticed you staring around and nudged you.

"Really nice isn't it?"

"Huh? Oh yeah."

"Well since you just got here I'm assuming you have no place to stay?"

"You don't go around inviting strangers into your house Raph. I could be a serial killer for all you know."

He tilted his head.

"I was going to give you some pointers on how to get an apartment."

"Oh."

You blushed and adverted your eyes.

You didn't know how, but you managed to snag yourself an apartment that day. You thanked Raph a billion times. You knew you were gonna be staying here, and you didn't wanna forget Raph, so you guys exchanged numbers. 

"Bye Raph, see you soon."

"Bye Y/N."

It's been about 3 months since you moved into the Hidden City and you couldn't have been happier. You started to visit Raph and he started to visit you. Of course, this meant that you started to develop feelings for the big snapping turtle. Raph liked you too, he was just way too shy to say anything. So one day you decided you'd tell him how you felt, regardless if he felt the same. Right now you were both on the couch watching a movie and eating popcorn. You balled up some of your blanket in your fist and inhaled,

"Raph, I really really really like you!"

When Raph didn't say anything you looked his way. 

"Me too Y/N."
