Chapter 7- Christians mom

Christian said he loved me. He loves me? It starts to make me feel bad for spending so much time with Mason. I had never addressed the way I felt about Mason but there is something there. I need to tell him about me and Christian or my conscience will eat me up.

I go to the library at lunch and wait around for mason. I feel nervous to admit to him I have a boyfriend. I don't want him to think I'm leading him on because we genuinely have something. I just committed to Christian first.

I spot him entering the library, head buried in a book.

Classic Mason. I can't tell him, I don't want him to never speak to me again.

"Hey, are you feeling better?" He asks me, sitting by my side.

"Yeah, thank you for the other day, it meant a lot."

"You should really get into writing, it helps,"

"How?"

"Whenever I have an emotion so strong I can't bear to express, I just write it down. It keeps you head clear, Keeps you leveled and sane"

"I'm not really good at writing tho."

"Stop doubting yourself Kai, you can do anything. I know you."

He stares into my eyes and I stare back in his.

Slowly his lips lead towards mine.

"I can't!" I say flinging my head back.

His face goes red, "oh Uhm, I didn't mean to overstep um."

"No no your not overstepping."

"Then what is it?"

"I have a boyfriend Mason..."

His face goes blank. I am a terrible person. I don't deserve to have him in my life.

"Oh."

"Mason, I'm so sorry, I didn't when we fir-"

I suddenly spot Christian walking in on the phone.

He turns around and spots us, "Kai?"

"Hi," I wave at him but he still proceeds to come over.

"Christian this is Ma-" ''

"I know who the fuck this is." He gives Mason a foul snarl.

Mason rolls his eyes.

"Let's go, Kaiser," He says, "And Mason stay away from my fucking girlfriend, you creep."

"This is your boyfriend?" Mason says to me in utter shock.

Mason stands up to walk away.

"Have you got a problem?" Christian says, shoving Mason back on his seat.

"Christian," I reach my arm out to calm him down.

He whacks my arm away.

"Don't touch me!" Mason yells at Christian, standing up to push him back.

The whole library is now looking at us. We are a spectacle.

"Then stop creeping on my girlfriend!" Christian yells back.

"Get your head out of your ass Christian, I don't give a fuck about you."

Christian shoves him so hard, Mason falls over.

I stand in the middle of them, "Christian stop it!"

"Fuck this, man!" He says, flinging his phone across the room.
