The sound of a drawer being closed near you wakes you up. Before you can even open your eyes you feel a weight on your mattress. And another. And another. You open your eyes to find James and Sirius lying next to you on your bed and Peter at your feet. Remus, who realised that maybe your bed is too full, has taken your chair and sits next to your bed. His hand is still on the drawer and you realise what he did. He hid the test that was still lying on your nightstand. You give him a thankful smile and turn to the guys in your bed.
'You guys make me feel like I am dying from a serious decease,' you chuckle and sit up a bit. You put your arms around Sirius and James and start to go through their hair with your hands. You know they love that even though they always complain about how their hair will get messed up from it. James shivers when your hand reaches his neck and you laugh. You do it again and now James almost falls out of your bed.
'Stop that!' he cries. 'You know I can't stand it!' He sits down on your bed and watches you suspiciously. 'If you weren't bleeding to death right now, you would be lying on the ground too.' His empty threats only make you laugh. Sirius moves on your left and you look down.
'What is it, Sirius? Do you want attention?' you tease him. Sirius' face turns red and he mumbles something denying. You giggle and keep on moving your hand. Sirius puts his hand on your stomach as a reaction and you have to look up to your ceiling to prevent the tears. James follows your gaze and looks up confused.
'Are you alright?' he asks. You nod and your eyes flash over Remus' face before you answer.
'Yeah, no I just thought I saw something on the ceiling,' you mutter. 'But it's nothing.' Remus gets up and puts his hand on James' shoulder.
'Let's make some breakfast. Pete?' Peter gets up when he hears his name and follows James and Remus out of the room. Before he leaves your room he turns around and throws something at you.
'Some painkillers, I thought maybe you could use them. Are you coming Sirius?' All Sirius answers with is a groan and Peter looks at him and then at you.
'It's fine, I'll get him up,' you reassure Peter and he disappears. You put the painkillers on your nightstand and lie back down. Sirius' head is on your chest and your cheek touches his hair. Your hand is now on his back, drawing circles with your finger. And his hand is still on your stomach, softly rubbing it.
'Are you really okay?' Sirius asks out of the blue. You think, are you okay? You are pregnant from the guy you have a crush on, but he doesn't think of you that way and you are scared of his reaction when he finds out you're pregnant. So yeah, you're totally okay.
'Yeah, I'm fine,' you say instead and sigh. 'I just feel-'
But Sirius never gets to know how you feel because at that moment you suddenly start gagging and you shoot up in your bed. Sirius looks at you with panic in his eyes and doesn't really know what to do. He gets up and runs to your side of the bed. He removes the blankets that are wrapped around you and when you are freed you run to the bathroom.
As soon as you reach the toilet, everything comes out. With one hand you're holding your hair and with the other you're holding your body steady above the toilet. Sirius enters just seconds after you and awkwardly kneels next to you. He starts to rub your back and you relax a bit. After a while you feel totally empty and you lift your head up. You wipe your mouth clean with your hand and see Sirius sitting next to you, giving you a reassuring smile.
You sigh; is this how it is going to be for the next months? You knew being pregnant was not the most comfortable thing, but this really surprises you. You pull your knees up in front of you and rest your head on them. Sirius is still watching you. You know that this might be the time to tell him, but you just can't. You try very hard to just open your mouth and say something, but it stays closed and instead the room fills with an awkward silence.
