The dorm was a mess. Clothes, books and other stuff were spread all over the floor. The girls were getting ready for the Halloween party and everyone was excited about the costume they got.

Peter picked out an outfit for Alice and they all agreed that the quiet boy had taste. He put her in a fairy costume, consisting of a mint green dress, which had a bustier top and a flared skirt, made out of tull with an iridescent shimmer. On the back of the dress, Peter magically attached transparent, real looking wings and must have hexed them, because they moved whenever Alice smiled or laughed. Her head was decorated with a crown of ivy that suited her short hair so well.

Lily got dressed by Remus and nobody could deny that she looked sexy as hell. He dressed her in a version of Audrey Hepburn, a muggle actress that none of the others knew, but Lily seemed very pleased. She said that the outfit was from one of the movies, „Breakfast at Tiffany's", that Audrey Hepburn played in.
A black, velvet dress hugged her body tightly and the heart neckline accentuated her breasts heavenly. The silk, long sleeve gloves, the pearl necklace and the white, high boots gave the whole outfit something classy.

"James will fall even more in love with you tonight", Marlene giggled. Meanwhile, Lenny pulled out the outfit for Marlene and handed it to her. Her friend looked at her in confusion first, but quickly realized that Lenny was her Halloween secret santa. The girl put on her outfit and was looking with awe at herself in the mirror. "Lenny! I look incredible. This has to be the most beautiful princess costume I've ever worn!"

The blue haired girl was happy with the outcome and happy that her friend liked it just as much. She admired the beauty and smiled, before saying: "I'm glad that you like it.... And Sirius will love it too, by the way". Marlene whirled around, looking at her in shock. "Oh come on, Marl. Do you really think I am this blind?", Lenny laughed, "I chose this outfit because Sirius loves Disney princesses and he will fall in love with you immediately."

Marlene's face turned crimson red as she looked at the ground. "I'm sorry, Len, I really am". "For what?", Lenny was confused, "Falling for the charm of my brother? Believe me, you have nothing to be sorry about. Do you know how many bitches tried to be friends with me, just to get with Sirius? Too many. You never used me as a tool, like they did, and I am unbelievably grateful about it. Our friendship never suffered because of that and as long as this never happens I hope you will be happy with him, even if he sometimes can be a dick ".

The girls fell into a tight hug and Marlene thanked her many, many times.

Then it was Lenny's turn to put on her costume. James gave it to her before they all went up to get ready, but she did not look at it yet. As she pulled the clothes out of the package, she couldn't believe her eyes. The pirate costume that now laid in front of her was so beautiful and sexy at the same time. A white, puffy, off-shoulder blouse would be go under an under-bust corset made out of black silk, embroidered with ornaments. The dark red skirt had a torn up look and was layered. It went just over her backside and her legs would be covered by fishnet tights. The rough looking leather boots made the outfit complete and as soon as Lenny had put on the outfit she couldn't stop looking at herself. James did an amazing job and she definitely had to thank him for that.

She added lots of necklaces, rings, bracelets and earrings so that she now looked even more like a pirate. 

Down in the common room, the Marauders were already there, all dressed up differently. Marlene gave Peter a creepy clown costume, which made him look even funnier, but he seemed to love it, because he had a wide smile on his face. Alice dressed up Remus as a vampire. Fake teeth and an old looking victorian shirt with slightly puffy sleeves. The top three buttons were undone, which allowed a look at the defining lines of his chest. Over his shirt was fake blood splattered, adding to the effect of his costume.
