Hoping to find what Shantae may think it belongs to Ammo Baron, but she was wrong. These are not minions of Ammo Baron, they were Dinobots. There was Swoop, Slug, Snarl, Sludge and their leader, Grimlock. All of them were in Dino mode upon landing and unconscious but still function except for Sludge.

The trio arrived to the crash site and saw the Dinobots that were there. Shantae couldn't believe what she was seeing, there are robot dinosaurs right in front her. Optimus was surprised and relieved to see that Grimlock and his team alive and functional.
Shantae: W-What are they? Ammo Baron's new pets?
Rex: No, they're not Ammo Baron's and they're not pets either.
Shantae: Then who and what are they?
Optimus Prime: That is Grimlock and his team. On the last days of our homeworld, Grimlock lead his team on a mission in the Sea of Rust. I've sent a rescue team to find them only to find a reservoir of Energon. We were contacted by Grimlock and his team to inform us of a space bridge. After that we lost contact them. But seeing them now.
Shantae: Whoa! That was just...wow!
Rex: Strange. How they did get here and-GREAT GADGETS OF GLORY IS THAT SLUDGE??!!
They turned their attention to the robotic Apatosaurus that looked wounded. Rex headed down to Sludge unaware that Grimlock was waking up. Shantae saw Grimlock approaching Rex and was about warn him until Optimus stop her.
Optimus Prime: Shantae wait! Grimlock isn't-
Shantae: He's going to attack Rex, I have to save him.
Shantae went try to stop Grimlock. When Rex got Sludge, he saw a huge shadow and turned around to see Grimlock. Grimlock tried to bite him, but Rex dodged it and activated his Smack Hands and uppercut Grimlock to make him fall backward. Shantae and Optimus were surprised by this. They didn't know that he had powers.
Grimlock: What the? Organics can't do that.
Rex: I'm no ordinary organic being, I'm a digikid.
Grimlock got back up and used his flamethrower to burn his opponent. Rex saw this coming, he quick step to avoid the attack, deactivated his Smack Hands, and starting running toward to Grimlock full speed. Swoop, Slug, and Snarl woke up saw Grimlock fighting an spiky red haired organic and joined in to help their leader. Shantae and Optimus were still watching the fight until they saw the other Dinobots coming in.
Shantae: REX! WATCH OUT!
Rex: Huh?
Rex stopped and looked behind to see the others of Grimlock's team.
Swoop: Hang on, Grimlock, we're coming!
Grimlock: Be careful! This guy is no human!
Grimlock then felt a tap on his head and saw Rex on top of his head. Shocked on how he got up there.
