She stared in horror up at the #2 hero, watching his smirk get wider and wider. "Your lying." She breathed trying to process, I may be a little dumb at times but how could I not get it off the bat? His face is everywhere, he's known for his iconic red wings, Christ (Y/n) you even work to try to move up to hero's like him. He then leaned back, looking at her face, before bursting into yet another laughing fit, her cheeks and ears burning in the process.
"I'm sorry kid, I don't mean to laugh," he said calming down. Kid? That's a new one. She felt a small flutter in her lower stomach at the new name but ignored it, deciding to think of a way to save herself. "I'm so sorry I didn't recognize you, I'm usual not like this I swear. I work really hard for my job and know most of my hero's to become a pro healer, Jesus this is so embarrassing, again I so-" her mindless rambling was cut off by a large finger shushing her. He smiled down lightly at her.
"I know you worked hard to get where you are." He said dropping his finger, still smiling sweetly at her. "You went through something pretty scary last night, it's only normal your mind would be slow today." His sweet smile turned into a grin as she sighed, defeated. "Ok Mr.#2 hero, why did you bring me home then? Don't you have lives to save?" She cocked an eyebrow, flicking his nose to make him back away. He's too close, her cheeks and stomach told her. It was strange, no man had ever made her feel uneasy.
"Well since I have the ability to save many more lives then a normal hero ever could in the matter of seconds, I get more off time then most pros." She nodded thinking back to the league attack when he saved hundreds of people in a crashing building in a matter of minutes. "Well thank you for saving me." She said turning to him to look into his eyes, #2 hero or not he still seems like a good and fun person to be around. She watched as he stared into her eyes, almost zoning out.
"Are you ok?" She asked snapping him back to reality, a small blush crept on his cheeks. Hmmm she thought biting her lip, trying not to smile. "Call me Keigo." He said with a straight face. (Y/n) almost chocked on air. "WHY WOULD YOU TELL ME YOUR REAL NAME I MET YOU A COUPLE HOURS AGO." she said crossing her arms and shaking her head. "What if I was a villain? Then what?"
"I know your not." He said giving her another smile, "I can see it in your eyes." At this (Y/n) froze, a blush of her own creeping up her neck. "Anyway," she said turning around to hide her blush. "You better get out of here soon, my roommate will be back any minute and if she sees I slept with a hero instead of getting a job, she'll have my head." Monika was all about hard work, she was disgusted with those who cheated to get to the top, which was unfortunately many.
"Tryna get rid of me so soon kid?" Kid again, of course she didn't want him to leave, but she didn't need to be in tomorrow's drama news about Hawks sleeping with a stranger. That's definitely not what her career needed. Keigo must have picked up on this because he gave her a knowing smile, before handing her a small, red card.
"It's so funny that we ran into each other this morning running, right?" He gave her a smug smirk, elbowing her rib cage while wiggling his eyebrows. She rolled her eyes playfully "whatever you say dork." He gave her a small pout, before looking back down at the card. "Actually it's good that we met, I have a friend who's been looking for a good healer."
No way
"Your joking." She said once again, her face paling. "Nope, text me tonight, I'll send you the dets." He said winking at her, walking out to the balcony and turning backs to blow a kiss. And in a blink of an eye he was gone. Wind circled through the room due to his take off.
Breathe. She told herself, glancing at the card.
