Fading Time ~ Skeletal

Fading Time

As I gather at the storm of photographs

Through time warps, friendships seem to disappear

People do not last a lifetime

They do not stay forever

Everyone evolves and moves into different directions

Bloom and wilt like a daisy's petals

Changes and morphs

Going into new stages, meeting others

Converting

New personalities and lifestyles are created

But no one will ever know your whole original story

 Skeletal

I want you to see the vertebrae

That dance across my spine

The ribs that protect

Every wasted breath of my lungs

My hips so dainty and fragile

Which you lay your strong hands upon

A smile more real

But still damaged

From what I have become

A mess
