I'm Not Yours

Chapter 1: Bookstore

12 years later

Winter's POV
"Mom, I'm going out, I have to buy books for school tomorrow." Winter cheerfully said to his mother. "Why is my son so cheerful today? Is something special happened?" Winter's Mom said.

"No mommy, I'm just excited because tomorrow is the first day of school" Winter answered. "Mhmm, okay. Do you have your pocket money?" Winter's Mom said. "Yes Mom, got to go, bye. See you later." Winter said then exited their house.

Yuan's POV

"YUANNNNN!!! GET UP, school is starting tomorrow get yourself what you need for tommorow" Yuan's Mom shouting to the sleeping Yuan. "Yes Mom and please don't shout" Yuan said lazily.

"If you don't get up, I will not give you your pocket money!" Yuan's mom said. "Mhmm alright alright" Yuan said trying to stand.

Yuan pushed his mother to the doorway and closed the door. Yuan goes to the bathroom, take a shower and dress up.

"Excuse me, where is the nearest bookstore here" Yuan asked the guy sitting next to him inside in the bus. "I don't know, I just googled it and here's the result" The said guy show his phone to Yuan.

After looking at the phone, he gave the phone to the guy when suddenly the bus brakes.

Now, Yuan is bending face close to the guy. The guy is blushing like a tomato then looks away. "Uhmm, Excuse me" the guy said.

Yuan realized what happened and comes back to his self again. "Oh, I'm sorry". "No, it wasn't your fault."

Minutes of silence passed when Yuan start a conversation. "Oh, so you're looking at the bookstore too, that means we have the same destination." Yuan said smiling to the guy. "Uhmm yeah" the guy answered.

"By the way, I'm Yuan and you are?" Yuan asked offering his hand to the other guy. "I'm Winter" he answered accepting the hand and shakes a little bit. "What a pretty name for a guy." Yuan said. Winter let go of Yuan's hand when he felt an electric shock and then the 'awkwardness' comes back.

The bus stops near the bookstore. After a few walks, they reached their destination. "What are you going to buy, Winter." Yuan asked. "I have to buy a Math and a literature book, you?". "Just like yours, wow."  They entered the bookstore and searched for the books they needing. After a few searching the pay and goes out.

"Hey, Winter" Yuan said "Wanna grab some ice cream?" He continued. "SURE" Winter said excitedly. "Oh, sorry" Winter said. "No problem, you're so cute." Yuan said.

Now, Winter is blushing like a tomato that is going to explode. They reached the ice cream truck after a few walks. Winter feels so small standing next to Yuan. Yuan is  6'2 and Winter is 5'7.

Winter ordered ice cream flavored cookies and cream and Yuan ordered dark chocolate ice cream. They eat their ice cream while walking and sit on the bus stop. Winter licks his ice cream and gets some on the side of his lips. Yuan noticed it and runs his hand to his pocket to know if he have handkerchief, but sad to say, he didn't brought one.

Yuan bends to Winter and wipes the dirt using his finger. Winter got stuck on his seat, he feels his blood rushes to his face and blushing like hell. "Is this guy flirting with me" he said to himself.

After a few chat, the bus came. Yuan was the first one to get out of the bus. Winter bid goodbye to him. When Yuan is out, Winter starts to blush. Then he realized that he didn't got his number.

Winter is now home. "Oh my, why is your face so red, are you sick?"  Winter's mom said "No mom, it's so hot outside." What a cliche.
