Chapter 25

The air was tense, the finals about to begin. Students seated in the stadium were murmuring, thinking about the Possibilities of the match.

"Hey, May, what is your opinion about today's match?" Dawn asked as Lillie also nodded, encouraging the Hoenn Native. The girl with the bandana seemed uneasy,"Well I don't know. I surely want Ash and Neo to win but Calem and blade seem more powerful. I don't know."

Lillie also stated,"I kinda agree. This match is battle of brains and brawn. However, our friends might be able to win if they somehow keep coming up with tactics."

"Anybody seen Chloe and Goh?" Drew asked from behind.

"Having a pathetic  last minute make out session ," Paul stated.

Everyone sweat dropped. Meanwhile, some lanes away from them, Miette , Grace and Serena sat, discussing.

"Serena, I bet Calem will lose today," Grace stated. Serena snorted,"Really mom ? I don't think those idiots Newt and Red have a chance against the Champion of Alola ."

Miette snorted,"They are not idiots. Today's match may surprise you,sissy."

"Well we'll see."

Inside the locker room, Ash's mind was in a frenzy. He kept pacing back and forth. 

HOW WILL THEY WIN ? WHAT POKEMON WILL CALEM AND BLADE USE? WILL THEY USE MEGA EVOLUTION?

He felt a hand on his shoulder and turned to see Neo.

"Calm down , pal. Worrying ain't helping us."

Ash sighed and Nodded. Zappy and Pikachu were having a conversation together in the corner, planning their moves.Neo sighed,"I have been waiting for so long to face Camel, but now the moment is right in front of my nose, I feel awful."

"Me too," Ash smiled sadly.But it turned into a frown as he remembered Serena. He will get her back. Calem is not worthy of her.

"We will win, no matter what," Ash said determination coursing through his eyes.

"Pika!" 

"Rai!"

The two mouse Pokemon cheered. Ash smiled as Neo smirked. Neo then put a hand of the raven haired boy's shoulder and remarked,"We will win and even if we don't, we are gonna bring the heavens crashin' down on Camel and his goon."

"Right," Ash smirked back as he, Neo, Pikachu and Zappy laughed evilly.

The morning sun filled the audience with enthusiasm as Professor Cerise came in the middle of the battlefield with a mic in his hand.

"So, students ! Are you excited for the finals ?!"

"YEEEESSSS!" The crowd roared madly.

"Today, the pair who will win today is going to enjoy a very special prize. This match will be refereed By me myself. You know the rules. Three double battles. New Pokemon are to be taken out for each round. The pair who wins two rounds out of three is going to win!"

"So, first of all, we have The Champion of Alola, Calem Xavier and another adept battler Blade !"

The girls squealed madly as Calem strode up to left side of the battlefield with Blade by his side. Serena could be seen jumping and cheering madly as Grace and Miette tried to calm her down whereas Gary,Drew and Goh were booing loudly as Paul snorted.The girls also frowned.
