CERISE UNIVERSITY OF TORRENT : AMOUR RETURNS AND DARKNESS PREVAILS

Chapter - 16

Clemont,Goh, Drew, Gary, Ash and Pikachu saw Neo and Zappy return with a frustrated look on their face.

"He ain't in our dorm," Neo informed, Zappy nodding in agreement. In a matter of five minutes, the six friends had split in search of Paul, worrying for him. Clemont ,Goh and Ash went into the School building while Drew, Gary and Neo were looking outside.

Miette tried to control her sobs as she looked down at the beaten boy. As soon as Torterra fainted and Paul returned him, Calem  had called over five of his goons, all of them extremely muscular and heavyset. What actually made her emotional was the fact that Paul didn't resist one bit. He was like...a man of his word. He simply took the hits without a grunt of pain.

She remembered how Calem had two of his Cronies hold Paul's arms. He had a third one to stand behind the purple head to dig his knee into Paul's back. The boy who loved to say 'pathetic' didn't show it, but the tightening of his facial features was enough to tell Miette how much pain that knee caused.The fourth goon held Paul in an aggressive headlock, often bringing the trainer to gasp for air. At last Calem and the last goon first delivered a furious punch to Paul's stomach, making him flinch. Then Calem kicked the boy in his chest ,hard. The fifth crony proceeded to punch Paul repeatedly in the face, giving him little to no time to breath due to the headlock. By the time the punches ended, Paul had his lower lip busted, blood flowing out and a back eye. The pueple head was then raised by two goons and smashed to the ground four times. AT last , as Paul lay on the ground, gasping for breath, the six bullies delivered a finishing blurry of punches and kicks. At the end he was left with bleeding wounds on his forehead and upper chest.

Miette tried to  hold Paul under his armpit to help him up but to no avail, she was lighter than the Purple head. Just then, she  heard a gasp and,"The fuck happened.!"

Neo was giving up hope to find his friend today. He had searched all the places except - 

"Hey, Zappy ? Didn't Dawn tell us Paul is a battling addict?"
"Raichu," Zappy nodded.

"He might be where we beat that snow head."

"Raichu!"

Miette turned to see a boy with black hair in a black Jacket  and red pants. A Raichu stood beside him. Both of them had an enraged and flustered looks on their faces.

The boy quickly came forward and puffed his chest out,"You hypocrite! First you beat my pal and now you are helping him to stand ! "

"No I didn't --" Miette began only to be cut off in between.

"Yeah sure you didn't !"

"But listen-"

"What the hell is left to listen?Huh...or are you planning to beat me too?"

"I didn't. Cale-"

"Cause I ain't planning to show mercy if you mess with me!"

"But I am saying -"

"That you beat up Paul and I am yer next prey ..eh?"

Miette couldn't control more. In a matter of seconds, Neo was on the floor , his cheek red where Miette just slapped him.

Neo got up and turned to Zappy,"See, bud?I told yeh ! She is planning to beat me no-"

"SHUT UP ! LISTEN TO ME FIRST ! YOU ARE JUST STANDING COMING UP WITH YOUR THEORIES! ONE DARN TIME , LISTEN TO ME , RASCAL!"  Miette shouted the words with such coldness and hostility, Neo whimpered behind his Raichu, trembling in fear.
