Chapter 2: Game Over

Author's note:

So I've been thinking that I would update this story every 2nd and 4th week of the month; hopefully. I apologize for grammars and spelling errors I'm using my cellphone in order to write this next chapter. Anyways enough chit-chat let's get rolling.

Eren's POV:

To here I was sitting down next to the window. The window I seek transparent within and all I saw was the track field. A track field with a group of students stretching and one of them seemed to get scoldings from their teacher. "Mr. Jaeger, does my class seem too boring on the first day of school? " I was startled and looked at him with a nervous look on my face.

"- No sir... it's completely fine not boring at all!" There were some who looked at me and went ahead to talk to their "friends" about how stupid I looked.

Mr. Ackerman raised an eyebrow at me and just went back to what he was doing. "Don't forget you'll see me after class, Eren." I gulped at his words. Why does my first day of school have to a bad day out of all times?

Minutes after minutes the bell decided to do its job by warning people it's time to get out of class, but for me I'll have to stay in class. Most of them were rushing out not wanting to be in the classroom anymore while I just walked slowly towards his desk. As soon as the door slammed shut everything was silent; deadly silent.

"Exactly, what kind of problem do you have? Now wanting to come on time for my class and to pay attention in my class. Is it really none of your concern?" Lectures are a no-no when it comes to teachers.

"Well... I- I do have a lame excuse for coming in late and I really do apologize for coming in tardy." I apologized and bowed hoping he could let me off the hook.

"A shitty darn excuse alright." He cursed at my response to him. I let myself stood up straight and just shrug. "I have no time to talk to you right now. I have another class coming in about few 5 to 10 minutes or so."

That totally brightened my mood up until he drained it down the hole, "Don't even think about smiling and being happy about it. You're not off my hook yet." I just nodded and shrugged at his disappointing answer.

"I understand and I'll be on time next time. Also, I'll pay attention." He just waved his hand to tell me to get out his classroom so I made myself walked towards to the door.

"By the way what's up with your eye-patch?" My hand stopped at the handle of the door.

"Just an injury on my eye nothing special." Its a lie but it's better than saying a "cursed" eye. I slid the door open and took a step outside as I closed it behind me.

I've let out a huge sigh, "What an obnoxious day." I muttered.

"You seem to hate it so much." I looked up to find a guy with a Bob hair cut. His blonde color really matched well with his appearance. "Ah, sorry for the rudeness. My name is Armin... Armin Alert." He brought his hand out and smiled. I've returned the handshake and a smile.

"Eren, Eren Jaeger." He nodded like he knew my name from when I was born.

"You're a transfer student of not somewhat?" He asked me.

I've shrugged at his question, "Yeah although first days aren't different than being transferred in the middle of the semester. "

He looked at me and nodded, "Hmm, I see. You must have transferred to different schools a lot then." I just laughed and agreed with him. He clapped his hand together and gave me a warm smile, "How about I show you around the school?"
