Chapter 10.5: It's Just Another Fairy Tale

Author's Note:
Is apologizing all I do in ever author's note? I guess I do. Oh right, I'll be doing the first page of Focus; a web comic. I won't know when it will be posted or where however if I ever do get it done I'll let you guys know, so be on a look out for that!

Levi's POV

A sudden thunk appeared on my face, as I grumbled and saw nothing but pitch black. I used my hands to see what was on me and that was a pillow; my pillow. I grabbed it off my face and heard giggling on the left side of me. I turned to my left and glared at Eren who was sitting there giggling.

"Rise and shine grumpy bear." He giggled. Rise and shine grumpy bear? Does it look like I'm a bear to you?

I groaned and sat up wanting to go back to sleep, but this pester little brat wouldn't want me to go back to sleep considering what he just did to me.

"Good morning, Eren." I ruffled his hair. He had both of his hands on his head and flattened making his cheeks more chubbier. I just let out a slight smile. "Come on stop complaining and let's eat breakfast. After that, I'll have to drop you off home."

"B-but I don't want to go back home! I want to stay with Levi!"

I just let out a sigh and looked at him with a disappointing look. "I know but your mom and dad might be worried about you."

"Boo..." He had a frown on his face.

I got off my bed, "Come on let's go downstairs." I offered my hand to him, as he took my hand slowly. I went ahead and lead him to the kitchen. "Good morning, mother."

My mother was setting up the plates on the counter, as she turned around and smiled. "Good morning Levi and Eren." She went ahead to leave the pile of forks on the table to go ahead and kiss us on the forehead. "Did you guys sleep well?"

"Yeah sort of." I replied to her.

"Sort of? What do you mean by sort of?"

"Not until Eren threw a pillow at my face. I was enjoying my beauty sleep." I joked around. She gave out a slight laugh.

"Alright, alright, enough with the jokes and let's get you guys eating okay?" She took Eren and plopped him onto the stool. "Today, you guys are having, Sunnyside up eggs, bacon, and rice."

"That sounds really good and fulfilling." I told her, as I brought myself onto the stool.

"Because it is good and fulfilling, Levi."

I began to grab my fork and eat my breakfast, as I looked to my right only to find Eren all gloomy and not even there yet to touch his food. I placed my fork down. "Eren, you have to eat."

"..."

No response from him.

"Did you and Eren fight?" My mom asked.

"No, we didn't he just doesn't want to go back home." I told her.

"Ah, I see." She gave out a smile. She called out Eren's name and found out that he listens to my mother more than me. How nice.

"If you go back home your parents won't have to worry, but you're always welcome to come back here, okay? So, eat your breakfast and fill up that little stomach alright?"

He nodded his head, as he took the fork with his tiny fingers and began to eat. I just let out a relieved smile and continued eating.

"Thank you for the meal." I said softly, as I took both my plate and Eren's to the kitchen sink. "I'll be off!"
