Chapter 3: Don't assume

Author's note:

I'll try to post another chapter for Focus this weekend knowing that I'll be busy next week and when March begins. Next week, I'll be prepping up for the ACT's and exams for the beginning of March. I'll do my best I can to update still. If I don't update, don't worry I'm just busy and it's not like I'll drop any of my stories. I mean the show must keep going right? Enough rambling and let's get to it.

Eren's POV

I here was sitting in Levi's classroom there he goes ahead and teaching his English knowledge. I spun my pencil around my hand not knowing what to do. I was too paranoid not to listen at what he is saying. "You need to kiss Mr. Ackerman." My pencil got its way to no balance, as it landed right on the table. I messed up my hair and bang my head on the desk.

A book was purposely closed loudly for everyone to hear; that was made for a purpose. "Jaeger, do you have any problems with my class?" I got back into my sense and lifted my head up to look at him.

I let out a slight nervous smile, "Of course not Mr. Ackerman. It won't happen again." He looked at me with those cold eyes as literally scavenge through the book to look at the page he left off.

"If you think my class is boring enough for you. Why don't you take an F." He was salty; very salty.

"I will not take an F and pay attention to earn an A." I told him.

He ignored my comment, "Turn to page 332 of your book." I wanted to strangle him even if he's a teacher. I opened my English text book and flipped the pages to make it on page 332. I felt like I have the urge to rip my eyes off when I saw too many words. The reading was said to be easy, but I just felt like doing nothing.

"Jaeger, why don't you read the first chunk for us?" Of course he'll go ahead and pick on me. "Besides I've heard rumors about our lovely English teacher to be known as a teacher who loves and guys and love to pick on students" I actually wonder if the rumors are true. 

I gave out a slight sigh. I stood up allowing the chair to be pushed away from me. "There I stand upon a hill; a hill to make me tall as if I was ever been. I raised my arms up and feel the wind breeze making my clothes flow within the east direction. The sensation felt nice, fairly nice. I looked at the sun setting down making the buildings look hallow than it has before. I let out a huge smile and made a puff. I was shouting out to the world even if they can't hear the slightest thing I'm saying I'm proud of it no matter what. Yes, no matter what because I finally get to let it all out, the emotions, the memories, and the struggles." I let out a breath from getting tired of reading the whole first chunk.

It was quiet like an animal trying to hunt down its prey. I sat down in terms of wanting my presence to be gone like thin air. "Thank you Jaeger for reading the first chunk of the passage." I just forced a smile at him. As he was about to speak the bell saved the class from getting their first assignment. "I'll see you guys tomorrow all of you better come in on time!"

I looked at the class who were having the eager to get out of this class. They seriously wanted to get out of here as quickly as possible. Here I am putting away my notebooks and materials so slowly, so I wouldn't have to worry about any of them to see what I have to do. Once the door slam, I looked around the room to see Mr. Ackerman and I alone. I grabbed my backpack and went ahead towards his desk. "Uh, Mr. Ackerman was there any homework that was assigned for this class?"

He put down the paper he was reading, as I watched the pencil spinning around on his hand. "There's no assignment to do unless you really want me to assign you homework for tonight. I'll be glad to do that." He looked at me and gave a smile.

I waved my hands, "Ah, no there's no need for that. I was just wandering about that and something else." He raised any eyebrow at me. I gulped and pushed myself towards him. My hands were placed on the piles of paper, as my lips were placed gently on his lips. After, the kiss was disconnected I had the urge of wanting to run out of his class no matter what.

"Jaeger, if you really wanted to sexual harasses your teacher so much I'm guessing you want your butt sitting in the principal's office." This had lead my life on the line.

"N-No I didn't meant to go ahead and sexually harass you... I just needed to figure something out." 

"First of all, I'm straight. Second of all, get this in your head I am not gay. Since, you went ahead and put your dirty mouth on my mouth I'll have to cleanse it tonight; a lot." I just shrugged not knowing what to do. 

"I-I'm so sorry about what I did." I gave a slight bow. He just groaned in frustration as his response to my apology.

"Just get out of my classroom." He growled at me.

"So, I'm off the hook?" I asked him. 

"No, you aren't off my hook yet." I frowned at his response. He really had to bring down my hopes doesn't he? "Now, get out of here will you?" I gave one quicker bow, as I hurried myself out of his class letting the door close behind me. 

I let out a sigh as I placed my fingers on my lip. "I probably need to clean my lips extra good too."

I walked out of the building and found myself running into Jean. He had a smirk on his face knowing what he'll be asking me, "So, did you finally did it?" He jabbed my shoulder. I did the same thing back to him.

"Don't make me do that stuff ever again!" 

"You actually did it?!" He was surprised; really surprised. 

"Don't tell me, that you were joking around about it!" I complained. 

He nervously laughed and shrugged, "Well, I didn't mean to joke around..."

"Jean! Are you serious?!" I really wanted to go ahead and strangle him.

"Okay, I'm being serious! I was just joking around with you having to do the deal. Although, the rumors were true." He just gave another nervous laugh.

I let out a sigh wanting to go ahead and bang my head onto a wall. It doesn't matter what wall it is; any wall can do! "You seriously are the worse." I mumbled.

"I apologize okay?" He looked at me with sad eyes probably regretting with what he had set me up through.

"I'll forgive you for just this once. If anything stupid happens I wouldn't dare to hunt you down when you're sleeping. " I told him.

"Oh, that's so scary, Eren!" He laughed. I just rolled my eyes at him and let out a slight laugh. "Seriously, what were the results when you guys kissed?" I could tell he was being careful with what he was trying to say around these people.

"Straight up straight." I answered him as short as possibly I can.

"What? Seriously, straight up straight?!" He went in front of me and placed his hands on my shoulders.

"Why, in the world would I be lying?" I raised any eyebrow at him.

"Ah, that is such a waste." He ran his hand through his hair.

"We seriously sound like girls gossiping about someone." I told him. He just looked at me for a bit and then started to laugh. 

"You know Eren you are really funny!" I wanted to ask him what was so funny, but I rather not. He finally stopped his hideous laugh and looked at me with a smile. A hand was brought towards me, "Welcome, to Survey Corps High School Jaeger." I looked at him with a smile upon my face, as I was gladly enough to take his accepting hand.

"Thank you."
