Izuku followed Shigaraki into the dark alleyway where a bartender-looking man was waiting for them. "Kurogiri," the pale man called out. "We're here."
The bartender turned around. His yellow eyes glanced at Izuku for a minute, before turning to Shigaraki. "Are you sure this is him, young master?" he asked. His voice was unwavering, like the purple gas that was his head.
"Mhm," Shigaraki nodded. "If he weren't the kid, then why would I bring him, dumbass." Shigaraki crossed his hands impatiently and frowned. "Well, what are you waiting for? Go use your quirk and teleport us to master!"
Izuku found this demeanor rather unpleasing. He looked worryingly at the man named Kurogiri and awaited for his response.
"Yes, right away sir." The tone of his voice was as monotonic as it was before. He seemed to have a lot of patience when it comes to this man. How long have they been together for Kurogiri to not be hinged at Shigaraki's attitude, was Izuku's question. Any sane person would break if they were to ever meet the demanding person.
Izuku observed as Kurogiri's violet smog surrounded them. Was this a spatial quirk? Izuku asked himself as he was engulfed in darkness. For a moment, he was afraid of what was going to happen. He was afraid that they might drop him from a high place and kill him. He was afraid that they'll never return him to his new home. He closed his eyes and braced for the moment.
"Izuku, what the hell are you doing?" He heard Shigaraki's voice. "Is this your first time seeing a spatial user? Are you fucking scared? Psh, lame."
Izuku carefully opened his eyes, and behold. In front of him were dozens of mutated human beings in all shapes and sizes, contained in units. Who the hell would do this? He was afraid of what these people can do. Are they mad?
He heard a voice from the shadow call to him, and he jumped in surprise. "Don't worry young man, we won't do this to you. We certainly aren't mad either." From the darkness, a man walked out wearing a formal attire. "You can call me All for One."
That name sounds quite similar to All Might, Izuku thought as he took a closer look at the mysterious man. He was wearing an intricate looking mask. It was definitly something.
"Haha, it indeed is similar to him," All for One replied, confusing Izuku even more. "I have mind reading powers, Izuku. That is not the only one though. I have a lot of them, thousands if not millions! In fact, I am the one who technically gave All Might his quirk!" he boasted.
"Are you sure giving this much information to him is okay?" Shigaraki asked him. "He may turn against us, you know."
"I know," All for One muttered. "We can quickly silence him if he sold us out though. So I don't really think it's a big deal telling him. The whole underworld seemed to have know who I am at this point."
Izuku gulped at the mention of his extermination. "S-so," he began. "What is the reason why you... bought me here? I heard that today is the day that you would give me a quirk. Why not at Akaguro's room?"
All for One faced him. "It's simple," he smirked. "We wouldn't want anyone knowing how we do the procedure of giving one a quirk that isn't compatible with one's body."
At that statement, All for One's palms engulfed Izuku's field of vision. A shadow loomed over his face and swallowed him. A striking pain hit him hard as he felt as if he was being burned alive. "A-argh-!" he screamed and shouted.
"S-stop! Ngh- I- th-this i-is too much-!" Izuku screamed as his body deconstructed and reconstructed on it's own. What in the world is happening to me, he thought. "It h-hurts-!" His DNA was being rebuilt from scratch, overwriting the old with a new and improved structure.
"H-help... m-me!" Izuku shouted and gripped All for One's arms. He was so massive, it's as if he's really on another dimension. Who are these people anyways? Why hadn'd he heard of them until now?
Blood spilled over the floor as Shigaraki watches from aside. "He's doing the same thing as removing one's quirk," he mumbled. "Right, Kurogiri?"
The mist nodded. "He's reconstructing the boy's DNA, honestly, I am concerned for him. He shouldn't have gone to this dirty hellish path."
Shigaraki crossed his arms and huffed. Izuku, he thought. Normally, a person would have died from shock. But, this student... is not just any normal person. He's the perfect pawn.
