Dreamnoblade- Cancelled MCC

"MCC has been cancelled?" Dream thought as he scrolled through his notifications. Among seemingly hundreds of Tweets he'd been tagged in, there it was.

An announcement that there had been a fault in the coding that they were having trouble fixing. They'd tried adding a new minigame, but somehow, it ended up deleting multiple others. They said they wouldn't be able to recover it in time, and unless they managed to figure it out in the next month or so, they would have to cancel for this year.

He screenshot the Tweet so he could have it saved, and continued to sift through his notifications. It'd been a few hours since the announcement had been made, so some people had already seen it before him. Most of the remaining notifications were asking him what he would do to make up for the annual event, but he ignored them, saying he'd think about it and go back through them, later. A specific tweet caught his eye, however. It was a Mr. Beast tweet.

"CALLING ALL MINECRAFT YOUTUBERS!!!" The message read. "I have seen that MCC has been cancelled, and would like to host an event in its place. If you were entered to play MCC, please message me on Discord and I will add you to a group chat with the other players. We will take this time to brainstorm and plan out an in-person event. I apologize to any youtubers who have not yet done a face reveal, and I know that it means you either have to miss out, or do a spontaneous face-reveal, but I am unsure of what else to do. If you are not a participant of MCC, please do not message me. I do have all of the entries on a list and will be able to check for false entries. Thank you."

Dream had a plan to do a face reveal for an event, so he thought about the idea of doing it now. Of course, it could totally backfire, but he thought about it for 30 minutes as he made himself some breakfast. He weighed the pros and cons of it, some pros being:

A special treat for his fans

A video that's bound to get a ton of views on his channel

The ability to finally post pictures of his whole self on his social media

And he could video chat people that he knew for the first time

However, there were some cons, as all things do.

He could get rejected for his physical appearance

He might be recognized be people who know him in real life, but didn't know about his channel

He'd probably run into fans and lose that sense of tranquility he had outside of youtube

He would probably have to do facecam more often, which he dislikes

He'd have to start cleaning his room...

Even though he chuckled to himself about the last con, he was still worried about it. He would probably ask George, Sap, and maybe even Techno what they thought of it.

George and Nick were his most trusted friends, and he knew they wouldn't pressure him to do anything, but would give some solid advice.

Techno, however, would probably joke about it. He didn't care about that, though. Dave had done a face-reveal before, and doesn't do face-cams anymore, so he might be able to relate to Dream's situation.

And he kinda just wanted to talk to him because he like talking to Techno. He doesn't know why, but he finds Techno's strange personality attractive. Techno hadn't seen his face even though Wilbur, George, and Sapnap all had.

He sat down on his couch and looked for a movie to watch on Netflix. Nothing seemed too interesting, so he went with his motto.
