*HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I hope this year will be better than what 2020 brought us and that all of you achieve your goals. On another note updates are gonna start being slower because I've got a lot of stuff going gone in my first two months of the year. I promise I'll try my best to have updates more often :) Enjoy! *

I let out a loud and frustrated groan when an irritating bang starts ringing through the entire house from the apartment below us. Noah quickly locks eyes with me from his spot in the living room, his blue eyes clouded with fear.

"I didn't jump mama," he quickly says, afraid that I'll yell at him.

At first I thought we were being too loud which was why the family below us starting banging on their ceiling, to let us know to quiet down. We were a loud family. Granted with a three year old who jumps and runs everywhere, I thought we were being too noisy and inconsiderate of our neighbours below us. Although we've never had a complaint before.

I made sure that Noah didn't jump on the floors or ran but I obviously had to constantly remind him to the point where it made me mad sometimes. It wasn't his fault, he's just a kid. I was more mad at the fact that they constantly banged on their ceilings, it drive me crazy.

"I know baby, it's okay," I assure him with a soft smile.

"Why is it doing it again if I'm not jumping?"

I shrug my shoulders, "I don't know but if they don't stop I'll have to ho ask them to stop because they are the ones being too loud."

"I don't like that noise."

"Me too," I sigh.

"Let's get you ready for bed okay?" I stand up from my seat on the couch and reach out my hand for him. He walks over to me and slips his hand into mine and I lead him upstairs.

"I wanna say night night to daddy."

Before heading to his room we go into mine but not before I tell him to be quiet because Lynie is already asleep. Although that doesn't stop him from running to his father and jumping on the bed to tackle him into a hug. I stay by the door, leaning against the wall with my arms crossed as I watch my two boys with a smile.

If I ever feel down all I have to do is look at my family. They could be just snuggling on the couch or playing together and instantly my mood changes. No matter what they do you can see how much we love each other and I'll forever be grateful to be a mom, a fiance. I don't think there's a better feeling than that. Maybe when I'll officially be Josh's wife it'll be even better. Right, I should talk to Josh about finally setting a date.

"Come on Noah, bed time," I remind him before he gets too carried away playing with his father. They both face me with a pout and I roll my eyes, "You have school tomorrow."

"Alright, goodnight buddy, I love you." Josh kisses his cheek and with one finally hug, he's climbing down my bed and walking over to me.

"Can you read a story please?" He asks hopefully.

"Of course baby."

I help him settle in his bed, all nice and snuggled with his blanket and lay down besides him with a book of his choice. I softly ready to him, smiling at his little comments or when a small giggle escapes him.

"The end," I finish and close the book. "You feeling tired?" I run my fingers through his hair as he answers my question.

"No."
