Chapter 19: Date Day

A/n: did I die? The answer is practically yes. Don't worry I'm healthy and everything maybe not mentally lol but hey I have a chapter for you guys and it's a decently long one. Can't say I'm gonna update regularly but I will try my best to continue this story!! Anyways enjoy!!

"From your head to your toes," I sing softly with my thumb tracing along Lynie's chubby little cheek before they grab her little toes. I lean down and kiss the back of her foot, grinning at how soft her skin is.

"You're not much, goodness knows,
But you're so precious to me,
Cute as can be, baby of mine."

A song I used to sing to Noah all the time to get him to fall asleep or calm down. It's been a while since I've sang it to him but I know he still knows all the words because he used to mumble them along with me.

She smiles up at me, no teeth in sight making her cuter than ever. Her eyes light up, the blue in her orbs becoming stronger as the days pass. And the little hat she has from the bubbles surrounding us has my heart exploding from cuteness.

There's nothing better than to take a relaxing bath with your baby.

With the entire family still here I needed a few seconds to myself. Well, away from all the questions and the noise. The interrogation I got from every single one of my family members was getting to my head.

"When are you buying your own place?"

"Are you going to be able to buy your own place?"

"Are you going to start working?"

"Do you want to start working?"

"How will you start working?"

"Are you and Josh still getting married?"

"When is the wedding?"

"Will there even be a wedding?"

I couldn't hear another one without having my head explode. I know they're curious and worried about Josh and I's decision but they don't need to know everything. We'll tell them when we actually move a step forward in our life. Right now nothing is changing. Josh and I are trying to get on our feet because the ground is shaking. We need time and patience to set our life in order.

So here I am, hiding from the world inside my bathroom taking a bath with my baby girl.

My eyes fixated on her, resting against my legs and chewing on her fingers. I couldn't wrap my head around how big she's getting. Four months old and she's still little compared to how Noah was or how Alaina is, although she is growing, as well as healthy and that's all that matters. She'll be little like me. Mother like daughter.

Though I have to admit, she is one gorgeous girl. From her little plump lips, her perfectly shaped button nose and those breathtaking blue eyes, Josh and I have really outdone ourselves with our kids.

There is some resemblance between her and Noah, I can see parts of him in her but she's different in her own way. Whilst Noah is practically a clone of Josh, she leaned more towards me and it excites me to see how she'll look like in the future. Would she change and become more like her father and brother or would she become my own little clone?

I'm sure Josh would love her even more if she resembled me, the same way I feel because of Noah. It doesn't mean I love him more than Adalynn, it just adds to his adorable personality.

"Maya?"

I glance up, my thoughts going forgotten as I watch the bathroom door being pushed open. I meet dark blue eyes and smile brightly at my fiancé.
