"Let me go, please," I say in a shaky tone. Just because he had proposed to me at 15, he still knew how shy I was. "I don't want you...and I never will," I choke out, reaching back for the doorknob.
"Mama, papa, you fill my room with memories in hope that I will one day come back 16 and naive. You must move on and understand I am happy for once in my life with the man I fell in love with," I say, swinging the door open and forcing myself out of his arms. "I'm alive in Korea...don't force me into a place of unhappiness," I say in a low tone before letting myself out and slamming the door behind me.
Locating the car parked up front for me, I quickly get in to find Taemin already seated. Shutting the door, I run my fingers through my hair nervously as I spot my mother and father's faces one last time through the window.
"I didn't know you were previously engaged," he says in a low tone that clearly showed his jealousy.
I shake my head, quickly attempting to wipe away the falling tears and gaze out the window. "I'm sorry...I didn't tell you," I swallow, still pushing away tears continuously falling down my cheeks. "I'm sorry, Taemin," I end up giving up.
Pressing my palms to my face where my tears pooled in my shaking, cold hands. Immediately, I feel a set of arms wrap around me and pull me into a hug. "That bastard touched you. I'm sorry I couldn't be there to stop him," he murmurs in my ear.
I remove my hands from my face so I could fully hug him back. Lifting my head up from his chest, I take a second to just admire him before forcing my lips to his. He gives in, pressing pieces of my hair away from my sticky, wet face as he held the kiss.
"Hey hey, look at me, Yuki," he whispers, our lips brushing against one another as I reopen my eyes. "What do you need right now? Your heart's pounding like crazy, sweetheart," he says in a worried tone as he drags a single finger down my neck to my hammering chamber.
Swallowing down my true words, I reply simply with, "I just want to go to sleep next to you." He nods, clearly satisfied by the idea of me finally asking for some rest for my always dis stressed self.
"Let's try to make the most of tomorrow before going back to work," he sighs sadly, gently pushing me back down so I lay on his chest.
For some reason, my heart rate refused to lower even after all that was said. "Taemin?" I whisper, resting a hand on his chest where I traced every muscle seen through his button up.
"Hmm?" He replies, also running a finger down my spine to calm my erratic nerves.
"No matter what...I'll choose you," I murmur nervously into his radiating chest. He fell silent for a few seconds, continuing to stroke my back as he sat in thought.
"Oh Yuki...you know I love you. If your love to me was a grain of sand, my love to you...would be all the world's beaches," he hums, his chest vibrating against my hot cheeks as he continued to hold me.
Sighing, I close my eyes and hug him tighter before eventually falling asleep.

The Next Day
After packing all of our stuff, we loaded it all in our van before going to visit a few more places. I took him to a few popular temples lined with Cherry Blossoms. We walked hand and in and talked for most of the time being. I felt bad for the viewers that would most definitely be bored by our lame content.
After all of that, we got back on our plane and took off for the short flight home. I watched as my island grew smaller and smaller before disappearing amongst the heavy clouds.
"Are you upset to leave?" He whispers, my eyes fixed outside the window looking out to the bright as day clouds beneath us.
I shrug, pursing my lips in thought. This actions allows him to wrap an arm around me for comfort. "I promise, when we get back to Korea, everything will be more settled," he says, my eyebrow raising at his adjective use.
"Hmm, what do you mean by settled?" I ask, leaning my head against his shoulder.
He stays silent for a few seconds before unexpectedly pressing a kiss to my head. "Just life...it'll all be settled," he replies, my mind still drawing a blank. Closing my eyes, I decide to not ask any further on the matter.
I woke up to find the plane landing. We all exit and join the crew in the airport before going to our shuttle. I had to be back at the agency in an hour to review this new dance break for Criminal that would be performed at an award show.
Meanwhile, he had to record at his studio so we parted ways right at the front of the SM Entertainment building. "When you're done for the day, call me and I'll send a driver to take you to my house, okay?" He asks, my head nodding before kissing him back.
Nodding, I then leave the car. My stomach was not in the best mood after the plane landed. I felt a bit sick but it might've just been some food I ate the other day.
Swinging the doors wide, I walk in the find trainees seated in the cafeteria on their break. Before I could even step foot into the lobby, however, Manager Lee approaches me with a satisfied expression.
"Yuki! You've returned!" He shouts, my cheeks reddening at the trainees turning their heads to face me. Just then, the choreographer as well as the rest of my dance team joins him.
"Oh boy," I whisper before pulling a slight smile. "Yes...yes I have," I reply, the crew passing me with their equipment all packed in their bags.
"Wonderful! This will surely be a hit," he thanks the cameraman who hands him a flash drive.
"How was your trip, Yuki?" Talia asks with a grin. I shrug as Wooseok also joins my side. All everyone was talking about was how my trip went. Everyone except Yoora and Jun who just tried to stay near the manager while I was being flooded with questions.
