He slashes. The sword that runs through his family line. In the course of the times of samurai, a samurai who is two faced.

He doesn't like to think. A sword that cuts is a sword of danger. The glimpse of hope to find his parents shines, and he doesn't take a second thought. His goal is something he wishes to accomplish, a goal to reunite a lost bond...

Personality :

Much like his surname namesake Youmu Konpaku from Touhou, Suzuku is a very much loyal friend and hard-working boy. Also like Konpaku, Suzuku is good at preparing food and then waking up the next day to find out that either Jay or Knife ate it all.

Since he was born during the Sakoku Period of Japan, he was like any other kid in the social hierarchy; a low ranked commoner. He also used to be a wakashu but stopped being one after 2 weeks because "it was very wrong for a 16-year old to sleep with older men".

In terms of cartoon characteristics, he is usually the one, along with Knife and Ren, to have a -_- face while in chibi form when Jay says something dumb. He is also known to correct Yūki, Knife and/or Jeerie if they misinterpret or misunderstand anything.

Facts :

1. Suzuku is a very good cooker, and his chopping technique is a good reflection of his samurai training and fighting style, as well as his good sense of dressing up.

2. He can be sometimes an awkward person to talk to and be around with, but he is overall harmless... Unless you get on his bad side.

3. He's rivals with Genjuro's son, Haruto Kibagami. Their fathers are natural enemies, and so they are as well. Eventually, they developed feelings for each other and decided to be together as boyfriends. By this time, same sex romantic relationships weren't accepted by society, so they kept it a secret from everyone they knew. The only one who accepts their relationship is Nakoruru.

4. He met Charlotte's daughter, Mary Ann de Colde, who had an interest in him because of his looks, intelligence, and kindness, much to his dismay. Charlotte used to harbor feelings his father, but she stopped loving him when she found out he already had Oshizu as a lover.

5. Mary Ann was all over Suzuku when they first met, which impressed her mother, and he never loved her. In fact, he hated her because of how annoying she was.

6. He is also a good friend of Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugou and Shouto Todoroki. The same goes for Jay, Knife, Raphael, Jeerie, Fuji, Ren and Jackson.

7. Suzuku, as it's a mix of Suzaku and Suzuki, means "vermilion sparrow" and/or "bell wood".

Backstory :

Suzuku Youmu is one of his world's greatest and youngest samurai. He is a well-trained young man and is now a good friend of Jay, Knife, Raphael, Jeerie, Fuji, Ren and Jackson. His parents are Haohmaru and Oshizu, and he is Haruto's, Genjuro Kibagami's son, boyfriend.

Relationships :

The Marvelous 9 : Suzuku is seldom seen talking to any of the other members of The Marvelous 9. He is very close to them, but he doesn't like to show this.

Haohmaru : Suzuku's legitimate father. Although initially very untrustworthy and hostile towards his father, Suzuku eventually accepted the reason his father left him and his mother.

Ochizu : Suzuku's mother. When he was 7, he grew up with his mother, who in turn home-schooled him. He loves his mother as much as he loves his father and treats her with much respect.
