Chapter 13- The Relization

People say things that are real can feel like a dream. When you have so many people here for you, it feels as if it's a dream to me.

I still couldn't breathe. I could barely even move. I can't speak. All I can do is sit there in the warm water covering my scared body shaking violently. Malikai washed my hair and played with my hair, knowing it calms me a little bit.

I looked at the TV and whispered to Malikai to turn on the news. He gave me a look as if asking me if I could handle watching and I nodded.

"There has been sightings of a crash on the 110 and 45th avenue. Our story coming up is of a woman who has been found in her kitchen hung from the roof." The TV showed my mothers house. The exact address. I looked at harry to turn it off and tears came like a waterfall. I can't help but think, "why would she do that? She could have gotten through this with me. Was she sick of what has become? My father coming back from hiding?

Suddenly my voice broke out shaking and fast.

"Malikai get me my antidepressants right now" I spoke with out a single breath taken. He rushed to the cabinet and got a pill and a fruit roll up(to cover the disgusting taste). He gave it to me and my anxiety and depression went away after 2 minutes exact.

Malikai dried me off and got me dressed then lied me in bed. Dale came in to hug me before my pill's drowsiness came into effect. Malikai got in his sleep attire and came cuddle with me after he closed the door. Then all I felt were Harry's arms wrapped around me and fell asleep.

I woke up to the smell of pizza. Casual boys pizza for breakfast. I got up and got in a tanktop and sweat pants. I went downstairs and got 3 pieces of sausage pepperoni pizza.

I sat down in front of the TV and turned on Divergent. I watched 50 minutes of it and Malikai walks in from the kitchen and plops down next to me and then cuddles me. I giggle and kiss his head.

Zack comes rushing in, yelling so many profanities all at once I couldn't understand him. Malikai sat up and walked to the basement with Malikai and I looked so confused as why the hell I didn't know there was a basement.

Zack, Tyler, Baxton, Micheal, Malikai, and Dale were standing around an oval table, talking of a wolf Gauntlet that could harm wolves in the state of put into the wrong hands. Of course I didn't say a word because I was hiding by the staircase but it made me wonder why nobody told me about this.

I ran back upstairs to the main room then up to my bedroom and sat on the bed. why didn't anybody tell me about this? I have more common sense then the guys their probably thinking about getting their hands on it and destroying it but if they destroy it, it could destroy wolf-kind as well.

All these thoughts were rushing through my mind and I hear 12 feet walking up the stairs. I acted quick and went into the bathroom. I grabbed my bag off the counter, along with my compass, and traveling essentials. "'Baki, I know what you heard was probably disturbing and you're wondering why we didn't tell you, but we're so-", I jumped out the bathroom window and told my compass of the wolf gauntlet and then opened it, leading me to find it.

Night was falling upon me and I couldn't think of eating with that...THING out there. I had to get a hold of it, quick. I ran as fast as my speed could take me.

After 9 miles of running, I stopped in the woods looking at my compass still pointing the same way I was running. I checked my watch and it showed 7:23 p.m. I looked around and started running again.

13 more miles and I looked at my watch. 7:48 p.m. I heard a rustling in the bushes an I looked where it was coming from, spiking my anxiety. I ran another 2 miles and then stopped to check my compass. It pointed to my right and I ran that direction. I ran, ran for 7 miles and I came across this fountain that glowed from the Koi fish swimming in it. They weren't just regular Koi fish though, they were spirit Koi fish. I pulled my compass out and it started twisting everywhere. I looked ahead past the Koi fish and I saw a small stone tower. I left a treat for the spiritual fish and walked across the bridge to the stone tower. I peeked in and I saw the gauntlet floating above a pedi stool. I got my trap reader out of my bag and scanned it for any signals of buttons that lead to sudden death.

After I found clear readings I put my trap reader back in my bag, grabbed the gauntlet, and ran the 31 miles back home and put the gauntlet on the table in the basement. I ran back up the stairs, locked the door, and walked up to the table studying the gauntlet carefully.

I jumped at the sound of Dale calling me.

"Hello?" I spoke sharply.

"Ohmygod, she's okay guys, she's okay."dale told the guys. "Where'd you run off to? We've been worried sick and none of us could pick up your scent!"

"What did you want with the gauntlet before I destroy it carefully?" I ignored their concerns.

"We were going to destroy it so nothing would happen to anyone."

"And nobody even BOTHERS to tell me." I spoke pained.

"We're sorry 'Baki." They all spoke into the phone.

I hung up and studied the Gauntlet carefully. I noticed there was a sparkling ball in the center and realized it was one of the spirits orbs. I researched on the computer and what came up was something saying, "the Wolf Gauntlet was a piece offering from the spirits given to the wolf master, also known as the Wolfblood creator, who was given the orb of the spirits to be handed down to his sons and/or family. But when the sons had received it at the age of 35, they had misused the power killing his parents, brother Mortikai, and sister Ysumai. He was so ashamed of himself that he made up the decision of building a small tower and casting a spell on it so the evil cannot see or even reach the powerful weapon. Only the true member of his family, not a god or goddess but maybe a Wolfblood, could obtain the weapon and make good use of it or return the orb to the spirits and rid of the object forever."

Under the passage there was the God's family tree and instructions to destroying the weapon.

I read the instructions carefully and followed it exactly. I put the orb in a glass container so I could return to the Koi spirits and hand them their gift back. I started the fire and placed the powerless gauntlet in it and watched it fall to ashes as soon as it had touched the flame.

I opened a messenger portal using my grandmothers spells and carefully placed the orb into the Koi pond visual and closed the portal knowing that it was with the spirits, safe.

I walked back upstairs and the boys jumped up from their seats with wide eyes. I put them to ease with a look of satisfaction of destroying the deadly weapon.

•Malikai's POV•

I hugged and kissed Tsubaki goodnight and watched her walk upstairs. I went down to the basement to clean up what she forgot to. Then I go to log out of the projected screen but I see a tab of the passage she had read. I clicked on the link of the family tree, curious if I possibly knew the family members.

I scroll down to the list of 1998 and I had come to horrible shock, knowing my girlfriend is blood of a Wolf God.
