It was Friday and everything was stronger. My sense of smell, my hearing, my vision, it was all getting stronger. I could smell the pizza parlor from atleast a mile and a half away from our school. I don't know what's happening to me. What do I expect? I thought it'd be nice to just get home and meditate.

I got home from school and as soon as I pulled up I sensed another presence in the house. I walked up the stairs and burst through the door slamming it behind me. I start smelling all over the place, like a wild animal.

I heard a drawer close upstairs. I ran up the steps and, still smelling, I see someone in my closet. I closed the door.

"Hey." I said casually, scaring the shit out if Dale.

"Holy fuckin hell Tsubaki, you scared the shit out of me."

"Well hello Mr. Obvious, what the hell are you looking for?" I asked booming my voice in the room.

"That night, I may have been out cold but when my eyes kept opening and closing again, the wolf made a connection with me. I know I may sound crazy right now but it's the truth. It's like he warned me about something. I can feel it coming close." He did have a point.

"You don't sound crazy. But what does this have to do with you searching my room?" I said more calmly.

"Well, before the wolf ran off from being scared, he kind of dropped this." He held out his hand that looked like a Yin Yang Necklace. "I though you had something similar to it. I remember in the past, but I'm not sure if you still have it."

"I don't." I said breathlessly.

"I know you're going through it too." He said after a silence. He sat down on my bed next to me with his head down.

I looked at him to where he knew I wanted him to go on.

"The smells, the sight, the hearing. I know you have it too right now."

"What does it mean?" I asked.

"Go look at your calendar, tell me what the moon is tonight." I got up from the bed and looked at the day.

January 21st, 2016: Full Moon or (the symbol) 🌕

I turned on my heel to face Dale.

"The scratch on you're arm. On my arm. They were from the wolf. Tsubaki, we change tonight. We have to get out of the city, we need to go back to Carmel Creek Forest."

"Okay. Stay here while I get a bag packed, then well go get yours." I said while throwing clothes in a duffle bag.

We went to Dale's house, got his bag, and started to drive to Carmel Creek Forest. All I can think about is what he said.

We change tonight.

------

We got to the campsite, where the incident happened. Then walked into where the wolf came out, we left our bags in the car and went to an open area where the moon light was visible.

"You ready?" Dale asked me, knowing we have to take our clothes off.

"Yeah." I said and pulled down the zipper of my jacket.

------

We were naked, covering our parts with our hands. I was scared, we could change any minute and I don't know who would change first. That's when I got this pain in my stomach.

Before I knew it, I was on my hands and knees. Transforming.

The transformation was done.

"Damn" I heard Dale whisper. Then he started to change, feature by feature.
