We made our way to Will's shop.
"Alright, now that we're alone, why?" I ask.
"Why what, darling?" He asks.
"Why did you take me?" I ask.
"You hold a big card in my hands." He tells me.
"Besides, you are quite interesting, and you seem to be drawn to the Pirate life. The way you spoke to Commodore, it brought great amusement to me." he tells me.
"To condemn someone only for which the life they chose to live, or had to subdue, it's immoral. Strongly against my beliefs." I tell him, and he nods.
"Pregnant?" He asks.
"Yes, I am 3 months, and 2 weeks pregnant." I tell him. He smiles at me, and hangs his hat on the anvil. I hear a clatter and see the old blacksmith snoring, possibly drunk.
Jack notices this too.
Jack walks over to him, and pokes him on the chest. Jack then shouts at the man, and tries different various ways of waking him. It makes me chuckle, as he makes his way to the anvil, and hammers at the irons.
"You won't unlock them that way." I tell him, and he looks at me.
"I'm Captain Jack Sparrow." He tells me.
"Yes, and I'm pretty sure I made those." I tell him, he looks back at me shocked.
"You?" He asks.
"Yes, I believe I did." I tell him again.
"How do you unlock them?" He asks.
"Without a key? Not quite sure." I tell him. He takes a crow bar from the hearth, and taps Duke on the behind witht he hot iron, making him squeal and run. He then hangs the irons on one of the grinds, and waits for the machine to cut the chain of the irons in half, giving Jack free mobility. The door then unlocks, revealing a concerned William.
"Anna?" He asks.
"I told you I'd come see you." I tell him, walking towards him, giving Will a hug. He's been my best friend for a long time. Jack runs and hides, before I pull away from Will.
Will stops Duke from moving, and pets his head. He then sees the old blacksmith, Mr. Brown, asleep, drunk.
"Ah, right where I left him." He tells me, laughing a bit. He notices the hammer on top of the anvil, and becomes a little suspicious.
"Not where I left you. Anna, were you-" He begins, before he sees Jack's hat.
William goes to grab it, before Jack slaps his hand with a sword. Jack points his sword at Will, advancing on him.
"You're the one they're hunting. The pirate. Anna, how did he get in here?" Will asks.
"Leave the lady out of this. This is between you, and me." Jack tells him.
"You seem familiar, have I threatened you before?" Jack asks Will.
"I make a point of avoiding familiarity with pirates." Will tells Jack.
"Ah, it would be a shame to put a black mark on your record. So, if you'll excuse us." Jack begins.
Will runs over and grabs a sword, pointing it at Jack.
"Will, come on, this is pointless. Let us leave, and you won't have to see us again." I try to convince Will. He wasn't having it.
"Do you think this is wise, boy? Crossing blades, with a pirate?" Jack asks.
"You threatened Miss Swann." Will answers.
"Only a little." JAck answers, carssing the two swords together, before they begin a duel.
"You know what you're doing, I'll give you that. Excellent form. But how's your footwork? If I step here," Jack begins, as they begin clashing swords again, moving in a circle, "Very good. And now I step again. Ta." He tells WIll, grabbing my wrist lightly, as I follow him to the door. Will throws the sword, inches from Jack's nose.
Jack goes to remove the sword from the door, but he cannot. He cannot unlock the door.
"That is a wonderful trick. Except, once again, you are between us, and our way out.And now, you have no weapon." Jack threatens, as Will grabs a newly finished sword from the hearth.
Jack's eyes widen, as the swords lash, and fire embers go everywhere. They jump on the grind, as Will loses his sword, and grabs another one.
"Who makes all these?" Jack asks.
"We do. And I practice with them three hours a day." Will answers them.
"You need to find yourself a girl, mate. Or perhaps the reason you practice three hours a day is that you already found one and are otherwise incapable of wooing said strumpet. You're not a eunuch, are you?" Jack asks, causing me to chuckle slightly.
"I practice three hours a day so when I meet a pirate, I can kill it!" He shouts, as they begin to duel once more. Will somehoe ends up on the planks in the roof, I am not sure, I was daydreaming, from boredom. Next thing I know, Jack has a gun to William.
"You cheated." William tells him.
"Pirate." Jack responds.
"Jack-" I begin, when the Royal Navy begin trying ot open the door.
"Move away!" Jack commands.
"No." William states, blocking the back exit.
"Please move?" Jack asks, as if that'll do any good.
"No." William states, yet again.
"Will-" I begin.
"I cannot just step aside, and let you escape. Not with Anna-Marie." He tells us.
"This shot is not meant for you." Jack tells him, cocking the lever, before old man Brown hits him with a glass bottle. The Navy busts into the warehouse, and finds Jack unconscious.
"There he is! Over here! She's here too!" One of the soldiers shout.
"Excellent work, Mr. Brown. You've all assisted in the capture of a fugitive. Are you alright, Miss Swann?" He asks.
"Yes, Norrington, I'm quite capable of handling myself." I roll my eyes.
"Just doing my civic duty, sir." Old Man Brown answers.
"Well, I trust that you will remember this day that Captain Jack Sparrow almost escaped. Take him away." Norrington commands.
I sigh under my breath. It seems like my chance of being free will never come.
