I awoke in the bed of the captain's quarters, my eyes fluttering open when Jack opened the door.

"Come on, darling, we've arrived in Tortuga." He tells me, as I nod and make my way out of hte quarters.

We walk through the streets of this bizarre town.

"More importantly, that has never breathed deep this sweet bouquet that is Tortuga, savvy? What do you think?" Jack asks.

"Well, it's... interesting." I answer, not quite sure if this would be a good place to stay for the evening.

"It'll linger." Will answers.

"I'll tell you, mate, if every town in the world were like this one, no man would ever feel unwanted. Scarlett!" Jack calls out to the red head who was walking towards us.

She slaps him across the face.

"Who is this?" She asks, referring to me.

"What?" Jack asks, and she slaps him again.

"Not sure I deserved that. Giselle." He addresses the blond woman.

"Who was she? Who is that?" The blonde questions.

"Wait what?" Jack asks.

The blonde, too, slaps him, causing me to chuckle.

"I may have deserved that." He tells us. We walk to one of the alleys, to see an old man sleeping on a pig, reeking of alcohol. Jack throws water on the sleeping man, to wake him.

"Curse you for breathing, you slack jawed idiot! Mother's love! Jack!" Gibbs answers.

"Mr. Gibbs?" I ask.

"Anna-Marie?" He asks, confused.

"You should know better than to wake a man when he's sleeping. It's bad luck." Gibbs tells us.

"Ah, fortunantly, I know how to counter it. The man who did the waking buys the man who did the sleeping a drink. The man who was sleeping drinks while listening to a proposition from the man who did the waking." jack offers.

"Aye, that'll about do it." Gibbs answers, and takes Jacks hand who helps him up.

"Blast! I'm already awake." Gibbs yells.

"That was for the smell." Will answers, causing me to chuckle. Gibbs nods, saying he understood.

3rd POV-

Her laugh sounded like a thousand gold coins clattering together. For him, it was magical. He of course has had relations with women in the past, but none have made him feel as alive as Anna-Marie. Since he first heard her stand up for herself, he's done nothing but wish to be by her side.

Showing her all the things he's enjoyed as a young fellow, it felt so right. Like she was made for him.

What neither of them knew, is that she returned these feelings for him. Every genuine smile, laugh, and conversation they've had, brings them closer together. For they were both two rocks, if you brought them together, you could cause a spark.

Could he possibly open himself up to Anna-Marie?

Could she trust him with her past? Her child?

Jack's POV-

Watching Anna from the table, as her and Will danced to the music together, it brought light to him. He couldn't help but smile at the sight. It brought a strange feeling inside of him.

He liked to call it joy.

He knew something happened in her past, because it's not everyday a royal turns up pregnant, pre-marriage. He felt bad for the girl, for when she sleeps, she would cry in her sleep, and talk amongst herself.

'No'

'Stop'

He didn't want to push her to open up, but he did want to know what demons overshadowed this angel he's found himself thinking about 24/7.

What is this? He can't love her.

He walks over to Will, who was dancing with Anna, wiping the smile from his face, he taps him on the shoulder.

"Keep a sharp eye." He tells Will, before returning to Gibbs, that goofy grin returning.

"So, you found a lass?" Gibbs asks.

"No, she wants to be a pirate, I'm just showing her the ropes." He tells Gibbs.

"I see the way you two look at each other. The way her laugh brings a smile to your face. Only one other man does that for Anna-Marie, and that was Weatherby Swann." Gibbs tells him, a grin mirroring Jacks, as he takes a big sip of his rum.

"Hush it, Gibbs." Jack tells him.

Anna-Marie:

I was still dancing with Will, as I see a much older man staring at me. He licks his lips, and begins his walk over. Each step he takes, I take one further, and further back, until Will realizes what is going on. He wraps an arm around my shoulder, and pulls me into his chest.

"Hey, now, darling. How would you like to come on my ship?" The man asks.

"No thank you." I tell the man.

"Oh, come on, the captain's bed is very, very, soft. You look exhausted." The man continues.

"She said no." Will tells the man, his voice deep.

"I'm afraid, you don't have a choice." The man said, before two of his buddies come over, and grab Will, putting him in a choke hold, until he fell unconscious.

"N-" I begin to scream, before they cover my mouth, to silence my cries.

"Jack!" I try to scream, but my mouth being covered silenced the pleas. Gibbs looks my way, and his eyes widen in shock.

"Mary, mother of god!" He shouts, as he points to where I was being taken from.
