We rush down to the gallows to see Jack trying to unlock the cage with a bone.

"You. Sparrow." Will calls to him.

"Aye?"

"You are familiar with that ship the Black Pearl?" Will asks.

"I've heard of it." Jack states.

"Where does it make berth?" I ask.

"Where does it make berth? Darling, for someone who's so interested of the pirate life, you don't know much about it." He jokes.

"Where does it make berth?" I repeat.

"Have you not heard the stories? Captain Barbossa and his crew of miscreants sail the dreaded Isla de Muerta. It's an island that cannot be found, except by those who already know where it is." jack tells us.

"The ship's real enough. It's anchorage must be a real place. Where is it?" Will asks.

"WIll, you're not listening. He just told you. The ship is heading to Isla de Muerta, which in Portuguese means Island of the Dead. 'Will you take us, Jack?" I ask.

"Why ask me? After all, I'm still stuck in a cell." He tells me, looking at his dirty fingernails.

"Because you're a pirate." Will states.

"William!" I scold.

"And you want to turn pirate yourself, is that it? I know what Miss Swann's answer is." Jack taunts.

"Never." Will tells him.

"Do you want to save Elizabeth or not?" I ask.

"They took Miss Swann." He tells Jack.

"Impossible, for Miss Swann is standing beside you." Jack states.

"My sister." I correct him.

"Oh, so it is you found a girl. I see, well, if you're intending to brave all, hasten to her rescue, and so win fair lady's heart, you'll have to do it alone, mate. I see no profit in it for me." Jack tells us.

"I can get you out of here." Will says.

"You see, a little special someone has already said that, but I'm still here." Jack states.

"Jack, we can get you out of here." I tell him.

he rolls his eyes.

"How's that? They key's run off." Jack tells us.

"We helped build these cells. These are half-pin barrel hinges." Will informs us, before grabbing a large plank of wood.

"With the right leverage, and the proper application of strength, the door will lift free. Anna-Marie, please back away so I don't hurt you." he tells me, and I step many steps away from William and the pirate in the cell.

"What's your name?" Jack asks.

"Will Turner." William answers.

"That would be short for William, I imagine. Good, strong name. No doubt named for your father, eh?" Jack asks.

Did he know Will's father?

"Yes." Will answers, shocked.

"Uh-huh. Well, Mr. Turner, Miss Swann, I've changed me mind. If you spring me from this cell, I swear on the pain of death, I shall take you both to the Black Pearl, and your bonny lass. Do we have an accord?" Jack asks, sticking his hand through the bars, to shake William's.

Will shakes Jack's hand.

"Agreed." He tells him, causing me to let out a slight laugh.

"Agreed. Get me out." Jack tells him, as WIll breaks the door off the hinges.

"Hurry, someone will have heard that." Will tells him.

"Not without my effects." Jack responds, grabbing his things before we leave.
