The Potatoes - Truth or Dare (Aruden...heheheh) Part 2

Aiden was leaning against the wall by the door, fiddling with his camera. His face was red. Aru closed the door behind her, and neither of them said anything. Aru imagined she was blushing just as badly as Aiden was. It was extremely awkward.

Aru could hear the rest of the Potatoes inside, asking each other questions and giving one another dares.

Finally Aiden said, "So, umm... D-do you mind?"

Aru sighed again and weakly smiled at him. "Let's just get it over with, Wifey."

He paused, then leaned in. Their lips met, and Aru suddenly was brought back to that night in the elevator of the moon god again. she remembered the way the moonlight fell over Aiden's features, enhancing his looks, and how he had said, "Maybe he didn't see you in the right light, Shah." A couple days ago, at the Thanksgiving feast, she had been positive she'd been dreaming that... but now, she wasn't so sure...

Aru and Aiden pulled away. Aiden looked at her for a few moments, then opened the door to Aru's room and reclaimed his spot on the floor.

Aru faltered as she sat down on her bed. She did like Aiden... a lot, but...he had only kissed her because of a dare. Would he do it again, even if he wasn't compelled to?

Aru's gaze drifted to Aiden. She realized he was looking at her too, with something wistful in his eyes. ...What was that about?

She shook herself, and she became conscious of Brynne smugly grinning at her. Aru scowled at Brynne, then looked at Aiden again. He was asking Rudy whether or not he had a crush, and Rudy was glancing at Mini, whose face was as crimson red as Rudy's, and that was answer enough. She smiled to herself.
