HALF-BLOOD (Jeon Jungkook x Reader)

Chapter 9

You stand in front of your father and Jungkook's father, speechless. 

"You knew who I was this whole time?" 

Mr. Jeon stands and walks closer. "Yes dear. When you were little I met you. I know how your gene was activated and all."

You sigh and look down. You haven't told your father that you discovered who Jungkook was yet. Your father and his father still think you both believe you only just met. 

You hesitate before speaking. "Forgive me sir, I was not aware my father told you." You bow to him.

He chuckles slightly then his face turns serious as you stand straight. "What was this about a shapeshifter and revealing the truth about half-bloods?" 

You look at him confused for a moment then remember what you came here for in the first place.

You father and Mr. Jeon are now standing directly in front of you. 

"Oh yea. I only have 5 more minutes before the teacher notices I left. But the teacher isn't our real teacher. It's a shapeshifter. She gave us a book full of all the half-bloods deepest secrets."

The two men look at each other then you again. "What is it called?" 

You think for a minute. "The promised one I think. The first few chapters are the basics but then it gets into things no one was ever suppose to know."

They nod. "Where does the teacher think you are so we can cover your story." 

"Ya see, I'm suppose to be outside the class in the hall walking around to cool off." 

"What do you mean to cool off Y/n? What did you do this time?"

You bow to Mr. Jeon. "I provoked Jungkook to start an argument without making it known what was happening. That way Yoongi, and I would get kicked out for fighting with Jungkook. Jungkook was the target because everyone knows we already argue sometimes."

Mr. Jeon smiles. "No need to bow. It was smart. They'll think you two were just fighting again and that it wasn't a cover." 

You nod. "Yoongi is covering in case the teacher comes looking. He will tell her I was just doing a lap around the halls before I got worse."

They both nod and send you back that way no one sees you walking back with them, completely blowing your cover. 

You run back down the hall, almost at a full sprint till you see Yoongi and Jungkook talking. 

You stop running, panting in front of them.

They both stop talking and look at you. 

"Why did you sprint?" 

You look at Jungkook. "Don't worry about it." 

Yoongi nods. "I'll go in first and just say the two of you need a minute to talk things out and calm down."

You both nod and watch him walk inside. 

You look down and take a deep breath after taking a glimpse at the teacher. 

Jungkook looks at you with sincere eyes. "Did you really mean what you said earlier?"

You look at him and then look down. "Part of it, yes. The first part no. I can't tell you why I did that. I just needed a distraction to get out of there. The last thing I said was true. I know you were just trying to make sure we were ok and I picked a shitty time to provoke you. I'm sorry."

Jungkook nods. "I deserved it. I know by biting you, I put your life in danger. If another vampire were to see it they would attack you. I promise I won't let them though."
