HALF-BLOOD (Jeon Jungkook x Reader)

Chapter 1

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

You roll over in the bed and reach for your side table. You feel around for the device yelling at you to wake up. 

You knock a few things over before finding what you were searching for. You hit the alarm clocks button, turning the sound off before rolling back over.

You hear a knock at your door and groan. 

"Y/n time to wake up." The door slowly opens and a male figure walks in. You can hear them sigh then approach your bed. "Please get up now, we need to leave in half an hour."

You slowly open your eyes and smile at the figure. "Appa, do I have to go?" 

The man called your father kneels down and smiles at you softly. "Yes sweetie. As the leader of the humans we must go. You are representing us and the treaty. Do it for me, remember?"

You sit up and nod. "Of course, I will represent you with Pride and Honor." 

He hugs you then lets go. "I'm proud of you. Once we get to the new academy, there will be orientation, so we will go straight to the hall. Don't forget about the Peacekeeper meeting later tonight."

You nod. "Don't worry, Yoongi reminded me last night while we were out hunting. Jin sent out a message to the group chat as well. We are taking this seriously." 

He stands and smiles. "I'm glad. As peacekeepers, you're in charge of everyone's safety. I trust you all."

You stand up. "Don't worry Appa, we will handle things. You and Mr. Jeon just focus on the treaty. We will focus on keeping the school as peaceful as we can." 

He kisses your forehead. "I know. Hurry up, we need to leave." He walks out and you sigh.

You walk over to your closet and grab the only outfit left in your closet. "Stupid treaty. Stupid University." You walk into the bathroom and shower.

A few minutes later, you jump out and wrap a towel around you. You look in the mirror, running a few fingers over the scar on your shoulder.

Flashback:

"SLOW DOWN!!!" 

You run after the young boy while giggling. He slows down and looks at you. "Sorry. I forgot you aren't that fast." 

You stop in front of the boy and pout. "It's not that I'm slow, you're just really fast. You should be in track or cross country."

The boy chuckles. "My middle school doesn't have either of those, plus my father would never let me join sports. Instead I'll stick to just running in the woods with you everyday." 

You smile. "Promise!?" 

"I promise." 

You smile widely before running around and playing again.

A few days later you run into the woods and sit on a rock. 

You feel a pair of hands touch your shoulders. You smile widely and turn around. "There you are! You're late!" 

The boy smiles. "Sorry, I had to eat first."

You nod. "I can't stay out too late tonight. Umma wants me home for an early dinner. Appa has a meeting with some counsel." 

The boy nods and sits with you. "My dad has a meeting too. Come on...Tag you're it."
