6 years later...

I walk around the brand new house, feeling the furniture and following the family around of course. I've been lurking around town for a while. Just because I moved on doesn't mean I can't come down to visit. It's the perks of being a angel, you get to watch over wonderful people. Yup, I've gotten my wings. Oh, and my mom was right my wish did come true.

"Come eat, Harmony!" The male hollered, calling the child down the stairs.

"Ok daddy." Her little voice stretched as I heard her little feet stomping down the stairs.

Her long dark hair cascaded over her shoulder as it bounces when she walked. Her eyes were as green as grass and beautiful like a thousand shapes and colors. Her mixed skin, looking soft and lovely. God, she looks just like me and Harry. She was gorgeous. I love what we've created. I love being her guardian angel.

Harry picked her up and swung her around before planting a kiss to her forehead. She giggled and once she was placed down she ran off to the table where her bowl of cereal was placed. As I watched her I've learned that her favorite cereal is fruit loops and she can eat it almost all day- most of the time Harry lets her because he's a push over.

Harry has been the best father he can be. He prays with her every night. They even pray to me, which makes me smile with joy. I miss him- he made me feel alive. I didn't know Harry was alive until I made it to heaven. I was happy, but sad too because I thought I'll never see him again. But God works in mysterious ways.

"Daddy, can you tell me about mom while I eat because I love hearing about her." My daughter smiled as she took a spoon full of cereal.

Harry looks at her and nods before grabbing an old photo of me and placing it in front of Harmony. He takes a seat and watch as she grabs the picture, staring deeply. I love when he sits the picture there to give a sense of what I look like. This is a daily routine with her and I never get tired of it. I'm glad I'm not forgotten to him and he's passing my memory on to her.

"Your mom was wonderful," Harry starts off saying. "She was sassy just like you sometimes." He pokes Harmony in the belly, making her giggle.

"More daddy." She ushers.

"More what?" Harry asks smiling, "more tickles or more mom?" He tickles her side and she laughs, grabbing his large hands.

"More mom!"

"Ok, she was a hero. She saved hundreds of lives because she cared even though she tried hard to keep her emotions hidden." He runs his hand through his hair and smiles. "She was all around wonderful just like you."

"I love her even though I've never met her." Harmony speaks, "she's so beautiful and I want to be just like her when I get old."

"You're her right now."

Harmony smiles, "do you think she's watching us?"

"Everyday baby." He says, "I think she's here now looking at how beautiful you are and how big you've grown."

"I love you."

"I love you too, Harmony." Harry says before kissing her forehead.

"I wasn't talking to you I was talking to mommy." She sasses and Harry gasps before he tackles her with his long fingers, tickling her sides.

"I love you also daddy." She laughs.

Harry smiles and retreats from tickling her saying, "I know. Now go get your book bag."

"Okay!" She chirps, standing from the chair and running off to the stairs.

I watched as Harry places his hand over his face and soon put his head down. I heard little whimpers coming from him as he mumbled something I couldn't catch. He picks his head up and looks around the room.

"I feel you, Em." He says, "I know the feeling of you. I miss you so much. I know you don't want to be seen but I miss you and I love you so much."

"I love you, Harry." I smile and run my hand over his face before bringing it is back to me side. He sighs and smiles.

"I'm ready, daddy!" Harmony yells, interrupting.

"Good, let's go." He recovers from his break down and removes himself from the seat, grabbing Harmony's hand before walking out the door.

Life is a precious gift we are unable to recreate once it's gone. The truth about death lays plain in the harshness of the grave ... but also the true beauty of the life we already have.
