We ride down the familiar street I know so much about. My window down and I feel the breeze hitting my skin like never before. I savor every moment because life is short and that's literally for me. I only have a few days to live this granted life and I want to soak in every moment good or bad. I can't waste it. I know Rena said it's strictly business, but I can still feel, smell, and communicate.

"Why do I have to find my mother?"

"She's going to help you kill him. She's the second strongest witch. She's going to help you with your powers."

"I had powers."

"Ghost powers, silly." She chuckles, "you need greater power. You taught those ghosts the ways of being a ghost but it's time for us to show you the ways of being a witch." I nod after she explains.

"You never answered my question."

She looks at me confused before looking back at the road, "I've answered every question you've asked today." She says a little annoyed.

"You haven't answered the how am I alive question."

She sighs heavily, "You're alive because three powerful witches helped you. They drained themselves for you."

"Why me?" I asked, "Why am I so special?"

"Emma you're stronger than you think. You were the best witch ever before you died. Then you were the best ghost, you're awesome!"

"Well, why don't I feel awesome and why don't I remember my life?"

It drives me insane that she knows so much about me and rubs it in my face. I have these blank spaces in my mind and I can't fill them in myself.

"Is this too much?"

"Yes, why can't I have my memory back now?"

"It'll be a distraction." She says, "Love cannot be a distraction at a time like this."

"Not knowing is a distraction!" I yell.

"You can't know right now Emma." She yells back, "If you know now you won't fight as hard and if you don't fight as hard they'll both be dead!"

I huff and sit back into the seat, looking out the window. I watch as the world swiftly passes me by. I don't know if she's right or not. I feel like I don't know myself and she knows me all too well. I have to trust her and keep my memories hidden until this war is over. It's the best thing to do right now. I don't want my emotions getting the best of me.

"Where are we off to?"

"Finding the finder."

"What?"

"The finder will help us locate your mom. I don't know where she's at so I have to go to the finder."

"Oh."

After riding around for a few we finally pull up in front this average house. It looks like something your grandmother would live. A garden out front, the house painted pink with chairs resting with a little table sitting in the middle. When Rena parks I open the door and get out the car, approaching the steps. Rena is right beside me in a few strides. She knocks on the door and we both take a step back waiting for it to be opened.

"She's very old and blunt so don't mind her." Rena informs me.

"I knew she was old." I smile satisfied with my examination.

Within a few minutes the door makes a clicking sound, swinging open. The old lady opens the door and smile at Rena, but when she looked at me she jumped back in shock or fright.
