Lilly laughed.
"Did you learn your lesson now!?"
Her tone really aggravated me.
"YOU BITCH!" I screamed.
"Oh, I guess not!" She giggled.
Then, Lilly pointed her knife to Blake's neck.
I didn't even have a chance to stop her.
He fell to the ground just like my parents did.
A tiny shriek escaped my mouth. She's taken everything from me.
"I HATE YOU!" I screamed. "YOURE SUCH A PIECE OF SHIT!"
Lilly laughed again.
"You better run, Harpie." she said. And all of a sudden, she lunged at me. I managed to escape through my bedroom door.
My body has never ran this fast before.
I slid down the stairs and into the kitchen.
Lilly met me there.
"Hello again!" She said, pointing the 'magic' knife in my direction. I ducked, causing Lilly's knife blade to crack the glass door behind me that lead to the backyard.
I crawled away, but that gave me no luck. Lilly caught me and stomped on my back, causing me to fall down.
"Well well well." she said. I was stuck under her grimy foot.
I felt the cold blade on the back of my neck.
"Say goodbye, HARPER." She said sharply.
And then I felt something wet trickle down my neck.
Blood.
........................................................
Someone was breathing next to me.
I couldn't see very well because it was pitch black.
My gaze finally adjusted.
Lilly was next to me. And we were in my closet.
"Howdy Harp!" She giggled. I slapped her.
And then I wish that I hadn't.
Lilly grabbed my neck and squeezed it with a lot of power.
I coughed and heaved and squirmed around.
"NEVER do that again." she said through clenched teeth. I nodded and Lilly let me go. I gasped for air.
"Why are we in my closet?" I finally asked after my air came back.
Lilly didn't answer.
"Hello?" I asked. But she just stared at me.
"I can't believe you." She said. "You lied to me. You promised that we would be friends forever. And once I returned, I found you mooching all over that boy!"
My head hurt.
"Lilly-"
"SHUT UP!"
I hugged my knees.
"You promised me HARPER! I was gone for a few days, and the next thing I know, my only 'friend' is lying to me!"
"You are over-"
"I TOLD YOU TO SHUT UP!"
Then I felt Lilly's fist in my face. She held her arms on my shoulders.
"Why did you do this to me!?" She shook my body.
"I'm sorry!"
"Sorry won't cut it HARPER!"
Then Lilly spit in my face.
I wiggled out of her grasp, scooting away from her.
"I won't let you get away with what you have done." I finally said.
Lilly turned her freakish head to me.
"What!?" She screamed. Before she had a chance to hurt me again, I kicked her head straight into the wall.
And it got stuck.
Lilly was muttering something at me, but I ignored it and ran out of the closet.
My room was empty. Lilly disposed my parents and Blake somewhere else. They weren't in my room anymore.
I had to find them.
I grabbed my cell phone off the bed and I quickly turned the keypad on.
And I pressed the digits 9-1-1.
Lilly startled me by jumping out of the closet.
Great. Just great.
Her head had blood mixed white powder all over it.
"SHOVING ME THROUGH A WALL WONT HELP!" She shrieked.
And with that said, she threw my phone out the open window.
Then she turned to me again.
I ran into Casey's room, slamming the door behind me and locking it.
Lilly banged on it.
"HARPER OPEN UP." She commanded.
I looked around for something that could help me beat Lilly's ass again.
Casey had a lot of plastic Barbie dolls lying around.
I grabbed the first one I saw and I ripped her leg off.
And just in time, Lilly punched a hole through the door and poked her head through it.
"HEY HARPIE!" She yelled. I screamed.
Lilly was really scaring me.
"LOOK WHO'S BACK! IT'S YOUR ONLY FRIEND WHO YOU BETRAYED!"
"I didn't betray you!"
Before Lilly had a chance to unlock the door, I threw the plastic leg at her face.
She laughed in disgust.
"Wow that really helped." she said sarcastically, throwing the door open.
I quickly turned around and punched the window. It didn't crack like I hoped it would.
Lilly kicked me to the wall. I fell over.
"I HOPE YOU DIE TONIGHT!" I screamed. Lilly laughed and kicked my stomach.
I coughed out blood.
But my energy wasn't gone just yet.
With one blow, I knocked Lilly to the ground. And I punched her again and again. She didn't move.
I moved away from her and just looked at her.
She was definitely gone.
I breathed heavily.
I did it.
I survived!
