Adrien's POV

Marinette came into school that day around lunch time. Alya questioned her on where is was. Marinette said that she had slept in late. She fell asleep late last night and didn't wake up til ten this morning. She was back by lunch though after she got butter for her mom's recipe for a delicious croissant.

They are lunch together. Marinette wasn't talking super fast like she usually does. She seemed sadder than usual. Maybe she was sick or not feeling well.

"Marinette, are you okay?"

"Why would you ask that?"

"You just seem sadder than usual. If you don't wanna tell me it's fine. I'm sorry for being so nosy."

"No. No, it's fine. I just, can't talk right now. If you want we could go over notes from science in study hall and I'll tell you then. Okay?" She smiled it was a sweet smile. One that made his insides melt.

"Okay meet you then." He smiled back. He hope she felt okay. He wanted her to trust him. He met her in study hall and she copied his notes down.

"So what's wrong?" She looked up at him and took out her phone.

"NOT HERE. Meet me at my locker." She typed. She asked the librarian if she could use the restroom. He waited a minute and then asked to go get book from his locker. He walked down the stairs to the lockers. He saw her sitting on a bench looking out the window. Her eyes were full of wonder yet sadness. She stood up when she saw him walk to her.

"So what is it? Are you okay?" She looked down and sighed. This must be worse than he thought.

Marinette's POV

"So what is it? Are you okay?" She looked
down and sighed. You can do this she
thought. You can trust him.

"I'm sorta, having boy problems." I laughed.
It sounded hilarious. Unexpected. Adrien
smiled at her. "I'm so sorry. It's just that I've
always had boy problems, just I have never
talked about them with a boy."

"You can tell me anything, Marinette. I want
to be there for you and I want you to be
happy." She glanced up at him. His eyes
where big and green. Like they where the
night of Chloe's party.

"Well, it's about this boy, and he likes me.
And I think I might have feelings for him."
Marinette said. She looked down. She
wasn't embarrassed, but sad to admit what
she might have to do.

"I thought you already liked Luka?" She
looked up at him. He looked frightened.
Like a deer in headlights. Maybe talking
about her love life was stressful for him.

"It's not Luka. I asked someone what I
should do. He said that I should let go of
my feelings, but I don't think I want to.
What should I do?" She looked at him.
Their faces where inches apart. She saw
heat rise to his cheeks.

"Uh, huh." He was stumbling. Maybe this
wasn't a good idea. She looked down. His
ring! She thought. Where have I seen it
before. Why does it look so familiar?
