Adrien's POV

"Uh, huh." He was stumbling. Why was he stumbling. This is Marinette. He thought. She is your friend. Help her out! Adrien saw Marinette glance at his ring. He moved his hand. "Marinette, I..."

"Yes?" She got a little closer. It frightened him that they were this close. His insides felt like they were melting. Oh my god, Adrien, get a grip!

Adrien had been sweet to Ladybug. How was Marinette different? He got up into his cat self. "What does you heart want?"

"What?" She asked.

"I mean, do you wanna be with this boy? Do you love him?"

"I've always felt like I've liked him but I think I just didn't want to admit it. I don't know. I wanna be with him but I don't understand by feeling yet."

"Easy. Tell him that you have feeling for him, but you don't know what they are. Ask him for time. If he understands then he's the one for you."

"Do you approve?"

"Of him? The boy you like?"

"Yeah."

Adrien sighed. He wanted her to be with him. He knew there would be other chances. Other girls. "If he understands you and treats you right, I do approve."

Marinette smiled. She leaned in and kissed his cheek. "Thank you." She stood up and went back to class.

Adrien didn't go back to class. He sat there. Replaying every moment. Adrien sat there until the bell rang. He may have regretted his decision now, but one day, they may be together.

Marinette's POV

"Marinette, what are we gonna do?"

Marinette was in her bedroom. She put the
lock on the door to her room to make sure
her parent didn't come in. "We're gonna go
talk to Chat."

"Marinette, chat might not have feeling for
you anymore? It might ruin your friendship.
Do you want that?"

"Of course not, Tikki. But I don't care if he
doesn't have feelings anymore. He needs
to know the truth."

"If only you felt that way about Adrien
months ago."

Marinette laughed. "Tikki, spots on!"

                                  .......

Ladybug is waiting patiently by the Effiel
Tower. Soon chat jumps in. Hello M'lady.
You said you wanted to meet me?"

"Chat, I..."

"M'lady, you know you can trust me. I
would trust you with any one of my
secrets."

"I just," Ladybug's heart was pounding a
billion beats per minute. "I need to tell you
something."

"What is it?"

"Chat, ever since Gladiator, my feeling for
you have grown stronger. I don't quite
understand these feelings yet. I think I'll
need time to figure them out. And I wanted
to ask if you could give me that."

"H-how long do you think you've had
feelings for me?"

Ladybug sighed. "I don't know. I think I've
always had strong feelings for you. I just
didn't want to admit it."

Chat looked scared. Like he was a deer in
headlights. His surprise turned into a smile.
"Is that all you wanted to tell me?"

"Yeah. I understand if you move on. I just
wanted you to know. Today's been rough.
Master Fu told me not to tell you. He said it
would destroy us."

"Why didn't you listen?"

She looked at him. He was like a ball of
mystery. A dangerous kind. "Some risks are
worth taking."

"Come here." Chat motioned for her to
come closer. "We may not understand what
is going on in this world or our feelings, but
what I do know is that I don't have to go
home for a while."

"What are you saying?"

"I'm saying that even though the world is
crazy, one thing that it doesn't change is
me and you." She crept in closer. He laid
down on the roof of the building. It was
slanted so that they could see the Effiel
tower glowing in the dark. Ladybug crept
down next to chat and laid her head in the
crook of his arm. They just lay there for
awhile. As the world circles around and
around, one thing that would never leave
was that night.
