Opie:

I once again pull into the school late to get the kids I pull up to see Elli and Kenny doing there homework on the side walk sitting next to there art teacher "Tina I'm so sorry you always have to wait for me" she smiles and waves me off chuckling "it's fine I like them they are two of my favourite people in Charming" I smile at her words watching as she waves her hands around in the air again noticing the rose tattoo that runs up and around her right arm and the words up her left even the purest of souls can't be saved from this cruel world ain't that the fuckin truth. "Alright kids get in. Hey Tina you wanna ride?" She smiles and shakes her head. Every day we do this I get up determined to make it for final bell and fail to see Tina has got the kids to do there homework while they wait for me we've gotten to know each other better this time as I hop out of the truck I intend to get her to ride with me. "Hey kids get in the car. Tina hiw bout a ride home dear" she smiles and shakes her head with out looking up from her sketch pad I step closer and kneel down "at least let me wit with ya for your ride" she smiles up at me looking through her eye lashes "I'm fine Mr. Winston go get your kids some food" I cringe "Opie honey and I really don't mind waiting with ya" she finally looks up at me with her emerald eyes "Opie I will be just fine like I always am go get your kids some dinner and then to bed good evening". She effectively shuts me down and dismissed me in a matter of ten minutes from arriving I sigh and turn back to the truck.

Shit I'm really fucking late this time I pull into the lot two hours later then I normally do and see Tina rushing my kids to the truck "I'm so sor-" "it's fine Mr. Winston have a nice night" I see a car pull into the drive and feel my blood grow cold as I lock eyes with a known nord I see him grin at me then honk at Tina "let's go woman I ain't got all night" I watch as she lowers her head as her cheeks redden "Tina let me give you a lift" she turns away and continues to walk to the car "Tina! Hey!" As they pull out he smirks at me then glares at Tina who still refuses to look at me. The next day I pull into the lot to see I think Kenny's math teacher "good evening nice of you to show up" she snaps and I bite my cheack as not to snap back "do you know where Tina is?" She scoffs at me and says nothing leaving me standing there and Ellie says beside me "miss T left a while ago dad before school ended and she got here early too." I smile at her "ok well lets head home" I push my thoughts to the back for now. The next day at TM I feel like somthings really wrong and ask Gemma to pick up the kids for me I'm now sitting on my bike watching and about five minutes before final bell I see Tina look around to make sure no ones looking then head out and stares walking home I feel safe fill me seeing her beatiful face cover in bruises and a split lip I pull up next to her on my bike "get on." she shakes her head "in fi-" I grab her wrist "that wasn't an offer I'm telling you get on" she does and directs me to her run down apartment that look like it may crumble if its blown on by a stiff wind I roll my eyes and without a word drive to my place getting off I stare at here "you know right? You know what he does?" She looks away "I'm not really sure what it matters" I grab her hand "oh it matters you watch my kids after school and you can't see why it matters. You sit and talk pleasantries with me everyday Monday to Friday after school drive me insane with your easy going ways then tell me that it doesn't matter". I hear her sigh "look I gotta go I won't watch the kids anymore to keep them safe I don't know why I didn't to begin with".

Tina:

I can almost feel my heart breaking letting those kids go at first it was just to do the right thing then it turned into wanting to because as long as I was around them he would stay away longer as I hear Opie tell me about how I put them at risk I start to cry as he reaches out to grab me "I don't want you away from my kids I want you away from him" I shake my head "I can't Ope I get it I do hes a bad man who does bad things but when his president wanted to hurt me he stopped them told them about me being a teacher and people caring. I deserve to be here in this situation because if it wasn't for him I would be worse off..." I shake my head and walk away "you're unbelievable Tina he didnt tell them that to help you he told them to cover the clubs ass. Youre not getting rides with him any more and you're staying here till you get a better place if you can't just stay." She looks at me unbelieving "why? Why you doing this?" I hold her face to mine "bacause you deserve better Tina and I'm gonna give you better when you're ready I'm gonna make you see that I'm all the protection you need not because I'm covering ny ass but because I've wanted to see you wrapped up in my arns in my bed sence the day you asked how often I was gonna be late like that.
