Giraffe hunting

When they reached the shores of Africa Doug and David quickly ran and went to find the nearest nature preserve that they could find. It took them several hours and by the time they reached the preserve, it was nearing night time. David casually handed Doug his clothes and turned into Melman and from there they continued. As they went around anytime an animal so much as approached them Doug shot them. Doug said " So Melman is there any special moves you have in case we both have to fight this giraffe? I mean this one isn't in a cage so it will be much harder to kill." Melman shrugged "I can kick and swing my head that's around it." Doug in slight frustration loosened and tightened his tie in a manic manner to calm himself. But was interrupted by a pack of giraffe. As they approached most of them didn't seem to mind them. But one kept staring at them till Doug said "Are you the head giraffe?" It quickly ran away and made no attempt to stop. Doug then rode Melman and chased after him. Doug kept firing and kept missing till the giraffe rounded a corner. As they rounded the corner also the giraffe despite being a giraffe donkey kicked Melman. Flinging Doug off and Melman was briefly stunned. Doug chased the giraffe into the bush as Melman watched. Many gun flashes happened in the distance and all of a sudden Doug's shriek could be heard in the distance. Melman ran over to see what happened. There in the clearing was Doug with his glasses broken and so was his body on the ground. On Doug was trample tracks but most noticeably was a  bite mark on his collar bone. Melman was crying intensely saying "DOUG IT'S MY FAULT YOUR LIKE THIS IM SOOOOOOOO SORRY!!! If I wasn't such a weak little giraffe such a tiny whinny wimpy giraffe we wouldn't be in this mess omg omg omg omg. I'm hyperventilating!" Melman was smacking himself a little. Doug coughed up blood and said "yes." While Doug choked on his own blood he began to seize. Then he transformed into a giraffe. Doug retained his glasses and his facial hair and his necktie. Melman dripped snot and cried but this time cuz he was happy. "Doug you're ok!?" Doug said, " I guess my giraffe powers have healed me." But their victory was short-lived because the giraffe escaped and dawn was approaching and when it did both men reverted to their OG selves but now they were naked. They now had to come up with a plan to deal with the giraffe and hide from the animals and tourists alike.
