"Tay! Where are you going?" Zack asked.

"Out." I sniffled.

"Stop." He said, turning me to face him. "You and Brian have a fight?"

"Something like that." I said looking away.

"Let me come with." He told me.

"Sure." I said.

Wiping my eyes, Zack and I walked in silence. I don't know what the fuck that was with Brian, but he is lucky I didn't punch him in the mouth.

"So, I see Brian didn't take my advice and calm down." Zack sighed as we walked.

"I don't give a fuck what his problem is." I snapped.

"Um, where are we going?" Zack asked me.

"I need booze. Gas station down the road." I muttered.

"There was a perfectly good bar at the hotel, but hey, let's get booze from the gas station." Zack said sarcastically.

"You're more than welcome to go back, Zack." I muttered.

Zack let out a painful groan and followed me inside the gas station. A decent sized bottle of tequila, check. I smirked at Zack who grabbed a forty.

"Don't judge me." He said, walking past me.

After we paid for our purchases, we went around back behind the gas station. I started chugging the tequila like it was water. Zack's eyes are wide as he watches me.

"There a drinking contest that I'm unaware of?" He smiled.

"Don't judge me." I mocked, hearing him laugh.

"Talk to me, girl. What happened?" He said.

"I'll spare you the sexual details." I glared.

"Fucking gross!" He yelled, making me snicker.

"Let's just say that Brian turned into a fucking caveman, and I told him to get the fuck away from me. You repeat any of this to anyone, Brian included, I will break all of your fingers." I said seriously.

"First off, I'm not saying shit to anyone. Even though I'd love to punch Brian right about now, I won't. Mainly because you're asking me not to. Second, you ever broke anyone's fingers before?" He grinned.

"Joe's." I mumbled.

"Oh my fucking God! How the hell does he still talk to you!" He laughed hard.

"We share the same DNA. He doesn't have a choice." I said, drinking more.

"Brian didn't like Sid touching you the way he did." Zack sighed.

"He hugged me. What the fuck!" I yelled.

"Nah, girl. The tucking your hair behind the ear. That burned him bad. He was about to stomp Sid's ass. Corey and I calmed him down. At least I thought we did." He sighed.

"Sid is fucking weird. He knows he's weird. He didn't mean anything by it. I'm not doing this shit again." I laughed bitterly.

Nope. Not having Matt 2.0 this time. Fuck. You. I'm allowed to have male friends. No one is going to dictate that for me ever again.

"I know this. You know this. Hell, Brian does too. Tatum, you have to realize that Brian worries constantly about you. He doesn't say it, but he feels like he didn't do enough that night." Zack said.

"Brian did everything that night. He's been doing everything for me. Why can't he see that?" I asked tearfully.

"When he saw you, he thought he was too late. That image is burned in his mind forever. I'm not saying my friend was a saint tonight, because hell, he wasn't. But whatever happened, I honestly think he lost sight for a little bit. Unless he really hurt you, then you need to tell me now." Zack said seriously.
