"Hey girl. Your boyfriend still in a band?" Zack smirked at me later that night.
I let out a laugh and hugged him. I am so fucking happy! For once in my life, this is what happiness feels like. I am also impressed with the ceremony that Brian managed to throw together. Everything has been perfect. This whole day has been perfect.
"Nah. But my husband is." I grinned at him.
"We are getting drunk again soon." Zack laughed.
"Yeah. Worked out well for ya last time, huh?" Gena grinned at him.
"That night it did." Zack smiled.
"I'm so happy for you!" Lacy squealed, hugging me.
"Thank you." I smiled at her.
I'm blown away still. Talk about a crazy six months. Hell, Brian and I were only back together for three months, and now we are married. I know everyone thinks we are crazy. I don't care. He makes me happy. So very happy.
"Sorry I'm late." I heard Billy say behind me.
I jumped and spun around, pulling him into a hug. Billy wasn't sure if he'd be able to make it. I was sad when I didn't see him. I smiled at him.
"God, you look beautiful! Congratulations!" Billy smiled at me.
"Thank you! I'm so happy you made it." I smiled.
"Me too. Shit! There is your dad! Jim!" Billy yelled, walking away.
I giggled at him. He is such a crazy man. Thoughts of Teddy filled my mind suddenly. I felt sad that she wasn't here for today. She would of loved it.
"Dance with me." Brian whispered in my ear.
Luckily, we have a DJ who played nothing but classical music. I will slow dance the night away, but that is it. Well, if I'm drunk, I'll dance my ass off. I turn into the Dancing Queen.
I smiled and took his hand as we stepped onto the dance floor. Brian's one arm slipped around my waist, the other one taking my hand. I wrapped my one arm around his neck as we swayed to the music.
"Thank you for today." I told him.
"No. Thank you for showing up and marrying me. This is the least I can do, baby." He said quietly.
"You smell like your grandmothers perfume." I giggled, watching him laugh.
"You smell like ten different colognes." He laughed.
"Yeah. Jason needs to learn the term moderation." I smiled.
"I do agree." He smiled, twirling me by my hand.
I giggled and quickly wrapped myself around him again. I let out a chuckle at a thought I had. I smiled at Brian.
"It feels like we are reliving the day we met." I said.
"It kinda does, huh? Except this time, I finally get my dance that I wanted." He grinned.
"Why didn't you just ask me that night?" I asked him.
"I was intimidated by you still. You acted like dancing with Matt was a chore that night. I didn't want to press my luck." He grinned.
"I would of said yes had you asked." I told him.
"No shit?" He asked surprised.
I nodded at him and he smiled.
"Damn. Now I'm kicking myself for not asking." He sighed.
